Of the ones we've looked at, doing everything separate has always been cheaper for us. Most of the "freebies" that are offered we wouldn't use. Perhaps it's just the times we go or how we dine :rolleyes:

For us the Florida Resident room discount has always more than covered our dining. Have your friend book the room in his name and add the other 2 of you as also staying in the room. Doing everything separate is usually cheaper anyways because the WDW packages are often overpriced.

The HM dinner looked AMAZING! I absolutely vote for that one.

We love YC. The rooms are very nice, the staff was always friendly, the restaurants are great. DD loved the movies on the beach at night and of course the pool. There is an amazing smell when you walk into the lobby! As others have said, it's quieter/calmer than BC and that is a big plus for us.

Focus on the cruise!! We love WDW, but I love the DCL even more! DCL has provided us with some of the best vacations we have ever had. The food, the entertainment, the characters, the adult pool, the clubs/bars, the coffee shop, the rooms, the CMs, we love it all.

DD4 loves to trick or treat around MK and we love to hit the F&W. We just think Christmas at the World is soo beautiful that we have to keep going back. The older DD4 gets the more she gets into the events so that makes it a little different for us each time.
