More of a vent than anything else.... My whole family is going in Sept and i booked all my ADR's at the 180 mark like a good girl. We have one night open for one more reservation and it's just going to be me and my hubby celebrating our 5th wedding anni. I decided I'd play nice and allow him to choose one place to eat...

For our only romantic adult only reservation he's torn between T-REX, Whispering Canyon Cafe, or ESPN....

ok then....

Can't blame you for being upset..you allowed him to choose one place and he can't decide from three terrific choices. He has got to man up and pick one! Maybe next time you'll allow him to pick two.
Or you could allow him to pick from your own pre-approved list next time to make sure he does not do something so wrong again.

We ended up going with WCC - after reading the reviews my hubby (who's fav food is ketchup) saw they do something "special" with the ketchup. I wont let him read anything else about it & boy is he going to be surprised...

It may not be the most romantic dinner ever - But it'll be fun!!!! :)
To add some romance, after dinner take a quiet stroll around the grounds of the Wilderness Lodge, then grab a lounge chair on the beach and Disney will send the Electrical Water Pageant over just for you two to enjoy on your special night. It will be there around 9:30 or so.

Easy....WCC for Breakfast, ESPN for Lunch, and T-REX for Dinner...:D Seriously though, I feel your pain, that's terrible.

When I first read the choices, I thought...what, are you married to a 12 year old?

Then I realized that's exactly the age my husband seems to be most of the time!

You will definitely have fun at Whispering Canyon...and I also recommend touring the resort for the romantic part of the evening!

Again, I am failing to see the problem.;)

Oh no! I feel for ya. I would say pick three you wouldn't mind going to and let him choose one from that list. He still gets the final choice. ;)

EDIT: Maybe he is messing with you?? Is it possible he is suggesting those restaurants only to surprise you with a fabulous night out once you get down there?

My wife would have played it smarter. ;) But we've been married a lot longer so she's had years of experiencing my blunders.:D She would have given me 3 choices of places she would want for Anniversary dinner, giving me the option of choosing one. Result... Then she would be happy with anything I would have picked... I would have been happy and safe with any choice. But like I've said, we've been married a while longer... I know how to play the game.

Not to give anything away, but it sounds like something I would do. Only there would be one of my wife's dresses packed in my bag, and a reservation made at V&A that she did not know about until the last minute :)

Boys!! lol. We ate there during our honeymoon and I will just advise you to tell them that it's your anniversary.

@JIMINYCR that is how the game is really played! Also, DH knows that if I leave it wide open he still needs to pick something I like. Also, please stop telling the guys that we do this! I'm not sure my DH has completely figured it out yet.
