My sister is going August 24th and isn't telling the kids until August 13th (her dd's bday). I don't think it is for the element of surprise, though. Her kids are 6 (turning 7) & 4 and this will be their FIRST trip... neither one has much of a concept of "time". If she tells them too soon...

We have NEVER done WDW with a car... I love letting someone else drive everywhere for a week! As for the mini golf... you can get to Swan or Dolphin and then walk over. Not too bad. :) Holly

Our favorite counter service in World Showcase is the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. They serve GREAT french foods plus pastries (to die for!) at a great price! Quiche, croissants, baguettes, cheese plates... YUM! Chocolate mousse, souffles, eclairs... can I go now! :) Holly

We were at WDW when they were filming that one! They were doing the part with the girls on Thunder Mountain Railroad. Now, whenever my kids see it, they say, "Look, it's OUR commercial!" LOL
