A new coaster would take a little longer to complete........ Like I mentioned two threads above - I understand that it is not work for a new coaster.

I saw what they were issued for and immediately knew that it was not for a new coaster to be built. But you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs first. Preliminary prep work was what I was alluding to. But when I saw it, it sure did get my heart beating.

I have a suggestion for you: If the rooms are motion sensitive (which I believe they still are), Buy a Helium Filled Balloon and park it in the vicinity of the motion sensor. This should keep the sensor from detecting no movement and therefore should not shut off.

So, what is being refurbed besides the main show and the boarding show? I really don't look forward to the pod racers - that has to be (in my opinion) the worst segment of the worst prequel to Star Wars.

I totally agree with this statement. We know Disney vacations are not relaxing, so we don't trick ourselves into believing that it won't be hectic. We do, however, allow ourselves one day of rest - the day after we make it back home. We make sure to get home on Saturday, so we can rest on...

Keep in mind that Hurricane Season is from the beginning of June until the end of November (so basically the whole summer). It is not just September. That being said - We go every year in September and not once have purchased insurance.

Definitely worth the extra ticket price. Candy is plentiful - Lines are not long - the parade and fireworks are awesome - as well as seeing the villains. We would not think twice about going back - it is a must do for us.

Just taking a stab at this: Disneyland opened in '55 - the significance of May 5th openings for other attractions 5/5. I thought it was pretty easy to figure out. I could be wrong though.
