I always listen to Mouse World Radio. If the Tomorrowland background music or EPCOT background music is playing, it's a home run. I have taken a liking to the background music from Wonders of Life recently. So much so that I bought most of it on iTunes.
What's everyone else's "go to"?
All this arguing, delusional fap addicts aside (never heard that one, Dave, thanks, I'm stealing it), what this thread needs is a little Burt Bacharach..
On our visit last fall, we were pleasantly surprised by the speed of the touchdown portion of re-entry. I don't remember it being that quick on previous trips (ok, I hadn't been on the ride in about 13 years because the lines were too long for it on subsequent visits). Has it always been that quick?
Coming from an insurance background, when we were there this past fall, the first thing I noticed were the cameras mounted on all of the buses. They've probably had a more than a few instances of guests claiming that they were either hit or their vehicle was struck by a bus as it approached or...
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and The Skyway. To a 9 year old, going on a "submarine" was the coolest thing ever. The last time I rode it as a 27 year old I enjoyed the nostalgia and the old school effects for all of their shortcomings. I always enjoyed the skyway, I loved seeing someone I knew...
I love the Speedway rewards program. I use the points accumulated from my gas purchases to get gift cards (I'm always getting iTunes cards) and every 6 fountain drinks purchased, you get a free one. And their fountain drinks always taste right, I've been to numerous other stations where I will...
When we were this past October, we were at DTD/Disney Springs and my two sons wanted to check it out (included in our ticket package). It was 9:05 PM and they had closed at 9:00 PM. They were bummed, having never been there before.
We were at Disney this past October for 9 days and the difference in the crowds during the week and the weekend were substantial. Go during the week, you'll be able to do more as you won't have as big of lines to deal with. And try one of the special Grey Goose frozen drinks in France. I don't...
If they want to jack up prices like this, how about fixing up the parks first? How about making the Studios more than a half day park? I'm as pro-capitalism as anyone but this reeks.
I forgot about a show at the studios, Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. The pre-show has scale models of the parks, ride models, one of the multi-plane cameras that Walt developed to give depth to the animation. We enjoyed the show last fall.
