    Don't even bother...

I personally found the ESPN Club on the boardwalk to be highly overrated. I could have found better wings at a BW3 and the prices were astronomical, IMHO. Also, even though Cosmic Rays in MK usually gets decent reviews, I thought the food was absolutely horrible. I would rather have left the...

    which park on which day

I go to touringplans.com and look at the expected crowd levels for each park for the days I'm going to be there. After I make a tentative itinerary, I call WDW-DINE and make my Priority Seating arrangements at each park. The only thing that would screw this up is weather, of course.

    Top 5 Most Overrated Attractions

In no particular order: Winnie the Pooh Peter Pan Snow White's Scary Adventure Country Bear Jamboree Haunted Mansion How can you not like the Buzz Lightyear ride? It's addicting! I'd rather ride that 10 times in a row than go on any of the above. Also, I think the Kilimanjaro Safari's WAY...

Frightened by the enormity of it all...

I felt exactly like you when we took our first trip two years ago. We had three kids, all different age groups, so it was hard trying to figure out which each child would enjoy doing. We also spent alot of money and I didn't want anyone to feel like we missed something. In the end, I think I...

    Famous Stars/Celebrities at the Parks

I saw the UConn men's basketball team on Big Thunder Railroad in '94 during March Madness. ESPN was following them around like they were actually celebrities. Other than that, sorry. We always go in Sept. and I don't think many celebs go then (or normal folks like us, for that matter). It's...

    Your Favorite Pre-Trip Moments

I start packing about two weeks before we leave, which will be the week before school starts this year. As soon as I pull those suitcases out, I get unbelievably excited!:sohappy: Honestly, I think I get more excited than the kids. Gosh, the night before we leave, I have trouble sleeping, I'm...

    just me or anyone else

OK, I used to live in SoCal when I was younger, going to DL, and all I can remember thinking is,"Are you kidding me?" I'd already been to WDW and they didn't even compare. And this was well before Epcot, MGM, and AK. I just feel like DL is a small-scale MK. I guess if I went back to CA to...

    Southwest cheap tickets

OK, you guys are totally scaring me! We're flying from PIT to MCO on Sept.15. We got our tix from Southwest for a cheap rate and now I'm worried that all 6 of us won't be able to get on the flight. Is the best idea to get your boarding passes 24 hours in advance AND still get to the gate 2...

4 Year Old - Which Parks Should we Visit?

We went 2 years ago with my then 4-year-old and will be going again this year with the now 4-year-old (who was 2 on the previous year, of course). The last time we went, my 4-year-old enjoyed MGM the best, by far. He is a wild boy, though, so he enjoyed riding TOT over and over and over again...

    Trip Planning - September 2006

LOL! Is there anything you're not doing while you're at WDW? How about scheduling potty breaks and SLEEP into that itinerary?:snore: I'm with you, though. It drives my husband absolutely nuts with my day-by-day itineraries every time. It helps, though, because then we get to see/do...

Keeping children out of school to go to WDW

Goodness grief! How did a forum about taking a week's vacation to WDW during school months turn into this? Honestly, if you look at the big picture, one week won't kill anyone and a child's/preteen's/teenager's memories are going to last a heck of a lot longer than one stinking algebra test or...

    hubby or family?

Definitely go with your hubby. If you choose to have children of your own in the future, the times with you and your husband alone will be few and far between. Even if you don't ever have children, life gets hectic and it's still hard to find time for just "one another." Go, have fun, who...

Keeping children out of school to go to WDW

We're taking my 6-year-old son to WDW during the second week of 1st grade. I've already spoken with the school and many of the teachers I've spoken to say they would rather have him miss the second week of school than in Jan. or Feb. when they're actually in the middle of learning something...
