Today Mom just randomly asked me "So would you and your brother like to go to Disney World?"

I'm like "GET OUTTA HERE!!" and she was like how long? And I said 4 days, so we're leaving this coming tuesday!!! I'm so excited!!

Completely out of the blue, and completely amazing....

My brother and I get an all expense paid trip to WDW!!! I have the best parents in the world!!!

I am sooooo jealous!

My fiance graduates college on Monday (failed spanish in the spring, had to retake it over the summer to graduate) and his parents were saying, "We're going to take you two on a great trip to celebrate next week since you're both off work!"

We're going to Myrtle Beach. Needless to say, it's no Disney...

(Thought I am very appreciative of the free trip they are taking us on.)

Enjoy yourself and be sure to post pics and a trip report when you get back!

Nothing cooler than a surprise trip. When I was young my mom and dad were always afraid that something might happen and our plans would have to change at the last minute so they never told us about going on vacation until just a few days before we left. It was usually during dinner they would say something about get your vacation clothes together we're leaving for ... on Saturday. We'd fly around pulling out swim suits and favorite shorts and shirts. Very exciting but occasionally a hassle. I am an obsessive list maker and love planning things. I must have got that from never being involved in the planning when I was young. Mom was very organized and kept everything on track, she just didn't let us know that until we were older. When young, I always thought our family vacations were spur of the moment but as I got older I realized she and dad had been planning, researching and reserving for months.

Enjoy your trip. We'll be there in 10 days ourselves.

Just curious... if she said how long... why wouldn't you say like... 10 days?? 2 months? A year?

Either way, I'm happy for ya, have fun!

When I was 15, my parents told my brother and I that we were going to the Smoky Mountains. Instead, they began driving to WDW without even telling us until my brother noticed that we were going the wrong way.
It was soooo awesome! They fooled us so well! It was so much fun!

Hope you have a great time!:)

Going to WDW at any time rocks.

But having parents just surprise you like that...fantastic!

Reminds me of when I was young (30 years ago), and our family vacationed for weeks in Florida. The morning we were going to WDW (then only the MK), they wouldn't tell me until they woke me at 5:30am to make the drive from Tampa, otherwise, I'd never get to sleep. And when they woke me before the sun was coming up, I knew it was for WDW...

Those are the best surprises...
