10 days out? I usually start watching all my "vacation standards:" Previous vacations, planning DVDs, old resort TV, the EPCOT opening special, etc. Also Mermaid, Aladdin, and Tangled might pop up there somewhere too. :) Exciting!

We have only stayed once and that was back in December '07. Needless to say we fell in love with the place and I can't wait to see it again! The Christmas decorations were stunning and even though the lobby won't be dressed for the season it'll still be a sight to see. :)

You can definitely tell that your kids are happy to be going to WDW, but who wouldn't be? :D Especially with an awesome surprise like that! Your daughter's Cinderella dress is adorable and she's definitely got the princess vibe down. Too cute! And speaking of Cinderella....loved the pics...

Ooo! Lovely pictures in Japan! Makes me want to go to there...like right now. :D The koi ponds and gardens are so awesome. Have you been to Katsura Grill yet? I highly recommend it. The udon soup is delicious and being able to eat outside in the gardens is a plus.

Looks like good stuff so far! So. Many. Lights!! :D It's horrible but I have yet to see the Osbourn Lights, even when we went in December. We just never got to the Studios at night on that trip. Very nice nighttime shots BTW. Can't wait to see what you have in store at the MK.

Awesome report, Shannon! It truly is amazing how much was done in what seemed like such a crazy short span of time. I'm sorry that you weren't able to hang out in the parks as much as you and Will would have liked. Glad to know that you have a longer trip planned in December so you can enjoy...

Depending on finances I'll more than likely register for the race. It falls right when we tend to go for our anniversary and it would be my first runDisney event. The timing seems right to me. :)

Ahh! You're almost near the end! I can only imagine how emotional running a series of races like that would be. Shoot, I got teary when I saw the finish at my 5K. But it is such an amazing accomplishment for you and you can definitely wear that medal with pride.
