I agree. Most theme parks focus on rides for thrills. When people go to Disney, they typically are seeking something different--the immersive experience. If the OP is seeking thrills like Universal, then perhaps he should be going to Universal rather than WDW.

I don't think so. AK used to have a parade, but many complained that the walkways were too narrow.

Do you really want it to go away? That is, is its mere presence in the park so offensive to you that you cannot enjoy the day while it exists? The reason why I ask is because I have seen numerous calls for attractions to "go away" when what we really wanted was it to be updated or replaced...

I asked Disney and they were less than helpful. Does anyone know what month the 50th anniversary will start? Will it be all year in 2021 or will it start in October and run into 2022? TIA.

I suggest adding Boma. It is one place my kids insist on eating at during every visit. One kid is willing to try new things, and always finds things to like. The other kid is extremely picky, and also always finds things to like (and even occasionally tried something). BOTH kids love the place!

You make good points, and I'll agree. I would really like to see them develop Dinoland quite a bit. I also agree that C&H really is crap and shouldn't count. I wonder what Disney could do with the land if they committed to theming it as a DINOland.

If we look at attractions rather than just rides, then I think most of the lands in AK are pretty well balanced: Africa: Kilimanjaro, Festival, Gorilla Falls Asia: Everest, Kali, UP, Maharajah Dinoland: Dinosaur, C&H, Nemo (I'd love to see C&H replaced, but it does add some balance to the land)...
