Could we ever see a Tapestry Parade ever again?

To me I feel that was one of the shows that really put the world Showcase on the map. I could be wrong but I still remember those days where your evening at the World Showcase would be tied around that and Illuminations. For me unlike Future World that was the golden age for the World Showcase.

Considering the Chapek era. Here's a Spongebob Clip to sum this it.

Replace Spongebob by saying "Will Tapestry Of Nations ever return?"

I attended a private event at the defunct Backstage Prop Shop convention space next to the old Backlot Tour at DHS. There were many props on the walls from former parades including the big wings the performers used in the Tapestry Parade. Back then iPhones did not exist to take pictures with.

I agree, the show was amazing to see and it was the best thing EP has had for entertainment around the WS. But no, it wont return. I think I recall it was reported before that the puppetry costumes were difficult for the CM's to maneuver in and there was some injuries that occurred from them. But anyway, Disney has a history of " it served its purpose and once its gone its gone for good". We can dream that when EP gets all fixed up with the new improvements there could be something entertaining added for our enjoyment.

This would be a good time to make a Parade route thru Future World.
Okay, lets put MSEP to liven the mood...

Showcase is more suited. Shame they ruined it.
You think they would make access ways around these little stages and kiosks for one. Now that underliners are a thing in the past for most parades they could easily make one Parade passs thru the route with a following soundtrac. With today’s lighting technology they can do all kinds of things with the puppets kill the lights along the route and let their onboard lighting do all the work.

But why would they? The kiosks should be front and center since they generate quick and easy big $$$. A parade won't make them anything extra.

I really don't like the current situation of WS, especially during F&W. What a miserable experience.
What about a Tapestry/Animal parade at DAK? @marni1971 ?
I believe that's how Rivers of Light started originally.

A parade would interfere with guests drinking overpriced alcoholic beverages. Not gonna happen anytime soon (for that and other reasons listed above). Sadly.

I don't think so. AK used to have a parade, but many complained that the walkways were too narrow.
It actually was. I remember hearing it from a trusted source here and Wikipedia (I know...) backs it up:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rivers_of_Light

Rivers of Light was initially developed as a nighttime parade by Steve Davison, but due to the need of infrastructural changes to Discovery Island to necessitate better viewing that would diminish the horticultural character of the area, this version of the project was cancelled in 2008
