    Deluxe Hotels

Hehe Disney and budgets. I learned early on just plan to spend a ton and you won't be disappointed. Plan a trip on a budget and you will be sad when you get home. I always spend wayyyyyy too much at Disney. Have you considered staying multiple places. I don't know how long you are planning on...

    Shades of Green

September and January any honorably discharged veteran can stay there. It's a nice resort but there's nothing Disney about it if u are going with family. Also prices aren't much lower than Disney resorts with discounts. It would be $135+ a night for veterans. Plus resort fees and park parking.

    Deluxe Hotels

I love the animal kingdom lodge. its so nice going out onto the balcony and watching the animals. Really good food too. Also it's not usually very packed so it's very relaxing after being in the parks all day. Only downside is it is kind of out of the way of everything I feel. Really nice...

What are your Favorite Things to do outside of the 4 Theme Parks?

Definitely resort hop. I love the boardwalk. It's fun to walk around and shop/eat. along with downtown Disney. There's plenty there to keep you busy for hours. If you are willing to leave Disney definitely go to sea world. There's also an awesome go kart track in Orlando not far outside disney...

Do you bring your pet(s) to WDW?

We are bringing our dog down this trip. He is staying at Best Friends for 5 days then going home with a family member as we finish our trip. Definitely looking forward to having him there and the prices at best friends aren't even that bad. Got him a vacation villa but might do a VIP suite since...

    Disney Dining Plan..... worth it?

Yes for worth it I met value financial/convenience between dining plan and out of pocket. I think the main problem with the dining plan is a lack of flexibility. would be nicer if you could choose course amount or at least be able to pick appetizer or dessert. Two people go out to Dinner share...

    Honeymoon registry

We did a registry and on the registry put Disney giftcards. Also used parents and close friends to spread the word. Many people gave us a gift with a small amount of cash. Another thing was the shower host put out a "registry" that included certain honeymoon items in the shower invites. Ie...

    Crowd Level Advice Needed...

Just did a last week of August trip this year. Not that bad. We were there from the 23rd to 9/1. The crowds were still heavy but we're not at the high summer levels. Only downside is everything was starting to shut down and construction stuff was popping up since the summer was over. All the...

Disney's sending out flash drives again

I think it's just the repeat customer thing. when we change names/numbers Disney treated us like "New" customers and we received them. I'm thinking that might be what happened. Never got any since lol

    Disney Dining Plan..... worth it?

@Minthorne I never really looked into TiW. Probably would be worth it. We live in NY but spend 30+ days a year at Disney. @brinneydee I wish they offered a table/quick service plan or something with less food. I'd be more inclinded to get that since we really only eat the main course. The...

    Disney Dining Plan..... worth it?

@DisneyGirl3820 I know what you mean. When we went last January we had our family with us and every table service was almost 2 hours. 3 if u count travel time and it just took away and seemed like a hastle sometimes. On our August trip we did just quick service dining and then we were wanting...

    Disney Dining Plan..... worth it?

That's the issue I always come across. I'll say I'm not going to do it since neither of us eat a full meal and dessert, along with a lot of the time we split a qs. But convenience almost always makes me get it so I know my bill up front and it's less spending to watch while I'm on vacation...

    trip insurance

We have bought it in the past but its not worth it for us. All of our insurance work out of state and our credit card company insures our trip so it's not worth it. Disney always tries to push it because they make a ton on it. I've had to delay a Disney trip due to bad weather without insurance...

    Disney Dining Plan..... worth it?

So this always seems to bring mixed opinion but I'm going to try it anyway. Is the Disney dining plan worth it. I've used the Disney dining plan many times while also paying out of pocket many times. Usually, I feel I break even with no significant difference. I usually opt in for it mostly out...
