Not sure about the cruise, but they cannot use the pool. The pool is for resort guests only and they give you wrist bands for the pool. You would have local people taking a room for a night and having the whole family coming to swim all day...not to good for the guests.

Your right, they always try their best to accomodate requests, but I wouldn't want anyone to think this would be guaranteed. It then only create problems for the kids at the front desk. That is why we always told people, "it's only a request, we cannot guarantee it."
