Wait Time Boiling Point: What's Your Limit

ToT, RnRC, and Splash Mountain are the only rides I would wait for no matter what. I need to ride those every time I go. The longest wait I ever did was 3 hours for Mission Space right after it opened up and I have not been on that ride since. I've waited 2 hours for Soarin' multiple times...

Help! Very impromptu short trip during Thanksgiving

I've gone every Thanksgiving (will be going for this one too) for the last 5 years or so and I don't mind the crowds. Supposedly it is one of the busiest weeks of the year, but I'm accustomed to it from going during this time so often and don't have a problem with it. I always manage to be...

    Peter Pans Flight Load Times...

I don't think I have ever, in all my times to MK, seen the wait time below 40 minutes, and even that may be a low generalization. It's crazy, but I just accept it as a given

Tom Hanks / Tim Allen on Jungle Cruise?

It definitely depends on how well the film does. I've never been a big fan of Jungle Cruise, so I wouldn't mind if they added Hanks and Allen in along with a refurb of the ride. I know some people wouldn't want it touched though since it's such a classic

If Disneyland built their own Epcot

The Epcot park we have is not exactly the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow that Walt imagined. I don't think Disneyland would undergo a project to try to create that EPCOT either. However, I suppose it is possible they could build a park similar to the Epcot we have with a Future...

5th Gate sold to an outsider (a question, not a rumor!)

I hope this never happens and I don't think it ever will. After Walt built Disneyland, one of the things he wished was different about the park was that he wanted more control over the surrounding area so nothing would interfere with his creation. That is part of the reason why WDW is located...

    Prime Time CMs

I eat there almost every trip I take. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the World. Do be prepared for the servers silly comments, nicknames they give you, and maybe even some playful punishment though. It's all in good fun and is a great dining experience

o no, not another kitchen sink thread!

I don't know if it's even possible to finish one of those things. I tried once with about 7 other family members and still couldn't do it. We put a big dent in it but then everything melted and it was like ice cream soup

    Which is better....

I've gone once a year consistently throughout my life and that seems to me that it would be the most satisfying. Distance makes the heart grow fonder. I feel like being able to go as often as you like might diminish the pleasure it gives you. It's different for everyone though

That One Special Moment on a Ride

The first three that came to mind have already been said but definitely the drop into the Laughing Place, the doors opening in ToT right before you drop, and "entering Space Mountain" on the people mover. In Soarin' I like when you swoop up just in time to miss hitting the mountain. The cannon...

    My favorite mode of transportation

I love the ferries between Old Key West and DTD, it's a very relaxing and enjoyable ride. Also, it's never crowded

    Attractions you've never seen...

That's funny you say that about Astro Orbiter becuase I am going in about a month and was thinking about doing it at night. It seems like it would be very nice to see the park from that height at night. And I really like the HoP, so you have futher persuaded me to try out the American Adventure

    Disney in November ???

I've been going a lot lately during the week of Thanksgiving and the crowds are never too bad. Wait times are definitely reasonable

Whats your favorite spot and when?

Advocate for your favorite lost attraction

My favorite when I was really little was Food Rocks. My mom always tells me I was transfixed by that show. I like Soarin' now and obviously wouldn't get rid of it, but it would be cool to see Food Rocks again. I was also a big fan of Doug! Live, which I believe was taken over by Sounds...

    John Lasseter

I'm not sure about imagineering, but from my understanding Lasseter has a big influence over animated movies. I believe he does screen each of them and monitors them all the way through development. He gives advice to the director who will most likely tweak the movie accordingly. I know...

    College Prgram

That's unfortunate for me since I never did a CP. They made it clear they would rather hire a former CP than a new person just for a PI but I thought I might still have a chance. Thanks for the help

Been There Done That NOT Going Back

I'll have to keep that in mind. I do remember the skipper trying to tell jokes but no one laughed and they weren't that funny. Good effort though, he was trying hard and made the ride more fun than it would have been with no skipper.
