    magic kingdom opening ceremony

Yep, still on - have to do it the first day in the parks. The other parks also have good morning ceremonies of various types, AK has "The Adventure Begins" and the Studios does a Movie production themed opening.

Crowds at the end of may, 1st of june?

Been in late May/early June twice, the crowds are usually moderate, you may even hit the closest thing WDW has to a light day outside of January/February. Both times we went Gay Days were on, and didn't even notice it. Only found out once I was back and read it online. Like erstwo said the...

MSEP to stay at WDW for 2 years?

All those guys are still in it. Blue Fairy is gone, replaced by Tinkerbell. Not a big loss there especially when you see how amazing the new float is. The whole Dumbo section is also gone. (Taking out the calliope is like taking Hook's canon out of Spectro!) Pinocchio and Snow White...

    Kodak Exposition Hall Question

They've already started, the outside areas are now walled up. Not sure if the theater is closed yet or not. If it's not closed yet, chances are it will be very soon.

    Refurbishment Question

I won't worry too much, most refurbs on major attractions are held during January/February when crowds are at their lightest. The exception is really long major refurbs like Space Mountain had last year. There is no way to guarantee you will avoid all refurbs, as some can be announced out of...

Booking ADRs the day of or a few days ahead?

I think my best bet might be doing what we did last time, kept our meal routine fixed to the time we would eat at home. That way we always ate early by around 4:30/5:00.

Walt Disney World Resort Television Programming.....It can be ALOT better!

Even better when they come "in the box!" And now I can't get the zip-a-dee-doo-da tip for today jingle out of my head!!!

Walt Disney World Resort Television Programming.....It can be ALOT better!

Agreed it could be a lot better. On demand seems to be a no-brainer to offer more Disney to you while they make some extra money. I also don't see why the channel that shows the "Trailer" as you called it doesn't also offer a segment recorded with a CM each morning listing events and times...

Booking ADRs the day of or a few days ahead?

Just wondering if anyone knows how easy or hard it is too make dining reservations anywhere from the day of to 48 hours in advance. Generally speaking of course, I know character meals are likely out, but how bad are in-park restaurants? We have some things booked for dining, but don't...

But somehow Goofy managed to sell his crop dusting business. Who knew he'd be the wise one financially?

Character Breakfast with characters similar to Chef Mickey's

Tusker sounds and looks like the best bet - it has a few good times left. Thanks for that extra bit of advice Missingdisney. One last question, the time I have for Chef Mickey's is 11:40 on a Sunday, does anyone know how late the restaurant stays open? The reason I'm not happy with the time...

For Those of you With Glasses

...or half empty but you're at WDW so I guess it's always half full. If you do take them off, do not put them in your shirt pocket. Lost a pair of sunglasses on BTMR after they bounced out of my pocket on the straight, short up and down hills. Put them in a bag or something that's secure in...

Character Breakfast with characters similar to Chef Mickey's

Just booked for early May and of course Chef Mickey's was all booked up (cept three times, one very early, and two very late sittings). I took a late time, but not entirely happy with it. My five yr old loves the sensational six more than the Princesses or anything else so I was wondering...

Cantina de San Angel heading into the lagoon

Agreed, it make Mexico look a little more like the other pavilions from a distance. A collection of structures representing the country. Anyone seen the design of the new restaurant? Just a thought, but could it also be possible the new restaurant will be lower, or maybe have a terraced...

    Aerosmith spat over for now

Not exactly WDW news, but I know many are often worried about RnRC's future being tied to Aerosmith's future. Aerosmith, complete with Steven Tyler, just announced an European Tour this summer: http://www.cbc.ca/arts/music/story/2010/02/25/aerosmith-tour-summer-squabbles.html Tyler jokes "I...

MSEP to stay at WDW for 2 years?

Too bad MSEP is missing King Leonidas Calliope, it would be nice if that makes a surprise reintroduction at MK. To all those questioning and criticizing MK's parades and especially to those "DL is always better than MK" posters I have two words for you... "Light Magic". Things are not...

How do you slow down your WDW visit?

Like the others have said, take days off in between several days at the parks - and when in the parks don't over plan. Some areas within WDW that help me slow down: the whole The Boardwalk, Beach Club, Swan, Dolphin, right on over to Fantasia mini golf area. That whole area I find feels...
