Aerosmith spat over for now

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Old news, they are playing Download and had to sign a contract saying that it would be a complete set of washed up band formerly known as Aerosmith.

Not exactly WDW news, but I know many are often worried about RnRC's future being tied to Aerosmith's future. Aerosmith, complete with Steven Tyler, just announced an European Tour this summer:

http://www.cbc.ca/arts/music/story/2010/02/25/aerosmith-tour-summer-squabbles.html

Tyler jokes "I just auditioned and I got the gig." as the band's new singer.

Got an email yesterday from Aero Force One (Aerosmith's website) telling me the good news! It had a link to the video showing Tyler and the band joking about the singer job and the new tour.....CLASSIC!!!! :ROFLOL:

Actually saw them back in August. It was the show right before he "fell", they were actually amazing I thought. Great concert, ZZ top opened and they were amazing as well!

I saw them here in my hometown a couple of summers ago during our local Bayfest concert and they WERE amazing!!! I go to a ton of concerts, new rock acts and older ones, and they put on one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Kudos for them for going back out on the road and putting that whole mess from last year behind them finally! :sohappy:

Yes, Aerosmith has had their difficulties as of late, but they DO put on a great show. I wish they'd finish a new album with some new music. They can still rock. I hope they do well.
