Not sure about points renting as never done myself but as mentioned the member should be providing you with a confirmation letter that you can take with you when you check in. You can just make dinner reservations through the normal booking number, dont need to book through DVC.

If you go online and pay for them now all you will have to do is print off the 'will call' certificate and pick them up at any park when you get to the world. You will need to all be present to collect and will be asked for DVC member card and photo id. If the price does go up you wont need...

I would definately choose House of Blues over Planet Hollywood but I suppose its just personal choice. If you are regulars to PH you muct enjoy but I would def say HOB is work a try this time. Take a look at the menu if you haven't already. Enjoy whatever you decide :sohappy:
