I too have tried to get onto the "New" site, but nothing yet. I bet it will not be fully released until the very end of the month.

    MK update 10/1

I actually like the new "Theme" this year. The Fairy wings are great, after all, Disney is all about Dreams and fairy tales. The New logo for merchandise is great too. I like how stuff is starting to be called Disney Parks instead of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. You know most people (not us...

    Disney Theme Park Failures?

I actually just got back from WDW and for the first time ever, I rode Figment and I loved it. It may not be an audience grabber, but the placement is not that good. Also most kids have no clue who Figment is, so why would they want to ride it??

    ?? Food & Wine Festival ??

So I am going to WDW the last full week in September (24th-31st). During that time the Food & Wine Festival start. My question is: How does it work?? Do I buy tickets for the food, much like a "taste of (inserct town name here)"? Or do I need a ticket to attend, much like Mickey's not So Scary...

Somebody tell me I'm not a freak...

Freak??? I thought that was normal stuff. Oh well!!! I actually made a box of Disney "stuff" that gets me Disney fix offline. It had maps, pictures, & other various things in it. It is sort of an emergency box, you know when you really need a "fix". ( I sound like a druggie...of Disney!!)

    Doing Disney Solo

I do not know where you are staying, but at Port Orleans Riverside there is a great bar with excellent entertainment. We love to go there and sit and watch!

    Doing Disney Solo

My wife and I will be there during the exact same time!! We love WDW in September. The lines are much shorter, so I would not worry about the single person line.

    Started Dieting For Trip

A About 2 years ago I went wtih a Vegan and we were worried about what he would be able to eat. We found the standard stuff....salads and fruit. But on our 3rd day there he was sick of just the lettuce and fruit. So while we were at Cinderella's Royal Table, we asked the server about other...

    The Triple AAA's

I suggest if you want to take full advantage of your AAA discount, then you need to book through AAA. I have found that my agent (who has booked 8 trips for me so far to WDW) had found better deals then I could if I were to search the net and call all over the place. My agent always reasures me...

    Started Dieting For Trip

I too started a diet and exercise program. Not just for Disney but for myself as well. Disney (which is in 45 days) was just another reason to do it. Since I started (alomost 2 months ago) I have lost 5 punds of fat and gained 15 pounds of muscle, lost 1.5% body fat and lost 4 inches in my...

    Dining Cost?

The dining plan only gives you meals for the amount of nights that you stay. So is you travel in on day 1 you would get meals for that day and all the other nights that you stay. So day 7 (which I assume would be your last day) you would not get any meals for that day. The nice part of the DDP...

    epcots 25th anniversary

In another thread on this site, there was a posting that said the outside was being painted pink and the arm removed and replaced with a candle. I am cool with the candle, however a pink sphere??? I don't think so. We will see in due time though!

The most annoying thing at WDW?

What about smokers that do not follow the rules of the park. You know the one where you are only allowed to smoke in certain spots around the park. I can not stand walking around having someone puffing away on a cancer stick being forced to breath in its toxins. I would be upset as a smoker if a...

    5 People...Riverside or AllStarMusic?

My wife and I stayed there for our Honeymoon last May and we loved it!! The experience is worth every penny of it. As far as the bus system, well it was as bad as any other resort. We have stayed at all of the all stars, and the wait times are different. The buses come (in my opinion) faster...
