Went by Epcot today for a bit and have a few images to share..

First, crowds were really light... 40 minute wait for Soarin' and 20 minutes for Test Track. Wasn't too hot either so it made for a nice time.

The worker was opening panels, pulling on wires while looking through some manuals... couldn't make out what he was really doing.

More soon...

I also saw a sign for a show called 'Imagineer That!' for the Disney Channel... not sure what this was but its hosted by 'Tom Morrow 2.0'. Anyone know if this is going to be a real show?

Another odd thing was that morning the security was infront of the Epcot Monorail entrance. My wife and I parked at Epcot and went to MK but had to go through the security before getting on the monorail. Kind of odd... but later in the day it was back to its normal place infront of all the booths.

I remember that Imagineer That! used to be a 'quicky' on the Disney Channel. Basically like the updates they've got on tv for WDW now, like where they did the special on Everest for like 3 mins, etc. I remember it from when i was in elementary/middle school. Maybe they're bringing it back?

That poster has been there since 1999, the only reason it is there is because Tom Morrow 2.0 is the host of Innoventions: The Road to Tomorrow. It doesnt mean anything, just something to make it look pretty.

Magic Kingdom was really empty today... 20 minutes on Splash, Pirates, Space Mountain and Big Thunder but all felt like 5-10. I noticed a bunch of lights up, for i guess the Halloween parades, in Frontierland and Tomorrowland. Space Mountain was running both sides with a very short wait and Splash was working great, only brer gator at the end wasn't working.

Pirates

Funny story, at Pirates they told my wife and i to sit with another couple on the boat, but unfortunatly they both took up the full row (both rather large). It took the CM a while to understaind there was no room and was getting mad at us because we wouldn't get in... he finally figured it out and gave us a fustrated grunt since we messed up his seating plans. Other people in line were trying to communicate to him that there was simply no room. I felt really embarrased for the couple in the boat since we were trying not to make a big deal about it.

Anyways, Pirates was amazing and the rehab WELL worth it.

I loved the left line since I don't think it has been in use in a long time. Took a few photos on it since I had never seen it before.<a href="http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=21789&cat=500&ppuser=17545">

The crane was easily visable behind the castle but all they have left is the Mirror.

There was some saffolding up around the Briar Patch... not really sure why but the tarp was attached to the rock work.<a href="http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=21791&cat=500&ppuser=17545">

I think this has changed but it seems the entrance to HM was a bit different and had stroller parking a little more organized.<a href="http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=21792&cat=500&ppuser=17545">

The trashcan was near the Mercantile of Venus and the operator was not hiding real well. He was sitting right next to it at most times and i picked him out with out even trying. Usually they seem to be harder to find<a href="http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=21794&cat=500">

It looks like they are doing construction in the castle since a wall was up for what I would guess would be the entrance to the apartment in the castle for when guests can win to stay there.<a href="http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=21793&cat=500&ppuser=17545">

Finally, there was scaffolding up above the bathrooms next to Peter Pan and there were some hoops with lights over the entrance to the CoP. Liberty Belle looked great after its rehab as well.

Other than that, it was a fun day after a week long cruise. I'll be back next week for a conference so I can't wait for that. Unfortunatly i'll be there solo for a week since my wife can't get off work :( Hope ya'll liked the update.

Thanks for the update. I actually like the entrance mural to the Living Seas more since they added more little fish around the main characters. I thought they might to match the new banners/murals inside the pavilion and was apprehensive that it would be too much, but it actually looks really good imo.

I must also say that I'm very impressed with the recent attention that Disney has been giving its rehab tarps. In the past, I remember them usually just using plain brown or green tarps to hide refurbisments in recent years. However, since the train station rehab last year, I've seen them use the photo-tarps more and more with rehabs and I really like that extra attention to detail. Its not necessary, but its really nice to see.

Ouch. :(

I use villagephoto - it's relatively cheap and they never seem to die. In the past i came close to exceeding bandwidth, but i just bumped myself up (they sell all kinds of plans) until i found one that matches my needs for work and play.
