I am going to be at WDW late Sept 24-Oct 1 by myself. I cant remember if most of the BIG attractions have single rider lines. Anyone know??

I thought I heard that MS got rid of the single rider line when they created the 2 different versions....but I haven't been there since then so I don't know for sure.

M:S lost its single rider line when it became M:S Green. They now use it and the old standby line for the two different versions of the ride.

Don't forget you are going after Labor Day, the last day off for kids for a while and the official end to the summer season. You're going during Disney's off-season, and lines are much shorter in late September, October, and early November.

My wife and I will be there during the exact same time!! We love WDW in September. The lines are much shorter, so I would not worry about the single person line.

Solo is great

I went solo in February 2005. Don't forget when the CMs are looking for people to fill up an extra seat or two to speak up. Not that the lines were very long in late Feb. but I got on a lot of rides much quicker even when they did not have a solo rider line.

I struck up many conversations so I never really felt alone. Only having yourself to be concerned with gives you great opportunity to see and do everything. With the help of some good weather and great extra magic hours I was able to have a great tour through all 4 parks in 3 days!:D

I actually will be there on my honeymoon Oct. 23 - Nov. 4.

Upcoming trips
Disneyland Feb. '07 :sohappy:
Disneyworld Feb. '08 :sohappy:

Most of my trips are solo. The only problem I encounter is seating at counter service rests. I often have to play "table shark" circling until I find someone about to leave.

I guess I wont have to worry about the horror stories I have read about staying at the All-Star Sports with all the kids running around...should be nice and peaceful at night

There's a few restraunts with bars, so you won't have to feel so alone. I know both Rainforest Cafe's have full service bars, and I believe that Pizza Plannet has a seating bar. There are all sorts of lounges and such that are great too. I'd recommend that. I also think that Cosmic Ray's has a bar seating, and probally many others. I enjoy grabbing something to eat and going to grab a seat for a parade or Fantasmic! Be sure to avoid the mealtime rush, noramally between 11 and 2, and agian from 5-7. I always eat a big breakfast, so I'm not hugry until 2:30, and agian much later.

I do not know where you are staying, but at Port Orleans Riverside there is a great bar with excellent entertainment. We love to go there and sit and watch!

soarin' -its never used when im there!
test track
everest (so people say)

i dont think any rides in MK have single rider lines.

one of the good things if there is no single rider lines is that when there is an odd number of people for a ride the CM's sometimes ask for any single riders to come to the front of the ride.:D

i went solo may 17 - 24th of 2005 and it was one of my best trips ever! i got on everything SO quickly. Soarin had just opened and i waited no more than 10 minutes in the single rider line, also rides such as POC and IASW, where you have severeal people to a row, as long as you don't mind sitting with strangers, then you get right on. CM's like to keep people moving so if theres 1 space left, they wanna fill it. Have fun on your trip! It was great, you get to do what you want when you want, go on your favorite ride as many times as you want and eat when you are hungry (as oppose to everyone else being hungry when you are not). hope you have a great trip!

Staying at the All star Sports resort. I have never stayed at a Disney hotel before. So really looking forward to this trip. On all the travel websites the value resorts are rated real low and the biggest complaint is noise.

Thanks...I am really looking forward to this trip. I have always wanted to stay at a Disney Hotel. I have been to WDW at least 5 times and always vowed that the next time I would stay on property. All my Buds want to go cheap so this time I am gonna go solo and stay IN THE WORLD

Soarin had a Single Rider line for about...4.5 seconds after opening. It was too crowded.

M:S got rid of it's Singles Line
Everst does have one, it's been moved, but still there, the only bad thing is you don't get the yeti museum, it's completely outdoors. Go the 1st time stand-by, you'll get more from the story.
Space and Splash had SR lines for about 2 weeks, didn't work.
TT's is still operational.

I'm staying at ASSports on 9/30. I usually stay at Pop, but no rooms left.:(

I've read that at times Sports can get rowdy. I'm hoping to miss that since school's just begun.
