BBB - take your own comb?

Last year I took 3 of my girls to the BBB. The reservationist told me that each girl should bring her own comb. I bought each of them a nice, new one to take (very sturdy). But fairy godmothers-in-training didn't use them. They used their own little cheap flimsy comb (which is fine) and sent...

Why Do They Ask Those Questions?

That would explain why I teach the person on the phone something new nearly everytime I call.

    Character Breakfast

If you've never been that early before, then you are missing one of my favorite things at WDW - the opening of Magic Kingdom! Mickey and many other characters ride the train in to welcome you for the day. You should be there before park opening to catch it!

Why Do They Ask Those Questions?

...when you call Disney reservations or Dining - "Have you visited the WDW resort before?" "Was your last visit since 2003?" "Have you visited more than 5 times?" Why do they ask these (or sometimes similar) questions every time I call? Is it for statistical purposes? Does it affect where...

    The "Take it easy" challenge!

There's no way I could do that. For us, a great deal of the fun is in the planning. We leave for our next trip 6 months from today - not a day goes by that we aren't planning. We know what parks we will do on what day, even our first several rides! (Don't worry, there's still 6 more months to...

    Flying in to Tampa??

Keep in mind that the Tampa airport is on the "other side" of Tampa, so to speak, so expect a little longer commute time. It's not a bad drive at all, though. WDW is on the "Tampa side" or Orlando, so at least you won't have to drive through Orlando. It sounds like you should take the Tampa...

    October Magic Hours

I posted this same question recently. It seems they don't post them on the website until the end of the month. Maybe you could call for the info, but I have not tried that yet. Good luck and please post the answer if you get it!

Have to cancel our Sept trip, Q's.

Are you SURE you want to cancel? I totally understand if you do - you know your family best. But if you have been before, it really is possible. We took our newborn with our 1 and 2 year olds! (They are now 9, 8, and almost 7 with a 2 year old sister!) You just have to set your...

Best places to buy disney merchandise -cheaper

It's not exactly "official" merchandise, but the nearby SuperTarget has a huge Disney section. We love to get autograph books, pens, & other souvenirs there. We try to make a stop there on our first and last days. It's also a great place for groceries.

    How to have a countdown

I become planning obsessed. Also, we watch all the Disney movies we own - especially the classics. That takes quite a while! When we get a little closer, we make a construction paper chain with a link for each day. Every morning we tear one off. It really helps my younger children get the...

Traveling in a group of 15 ticket question

I'm not really sure if you need to keep up with whose is whose with the tickets, but I know when we buy tickets, the cm is always careful to point out which tickets are adult passes, and which ones are children's. With our family, the pics are enough to help distinguish them. Beyond that, we...

    Swimming with our 3mth old?

I agree with MickyManiacs. All of our babies loved the pool. (Just keep their ears out, of course!) I didn't notice where you are from, but you do have to watch that Florida sun - be extra careful! Have fun!

    Stroller Rentals?

You could use 2 single strollers (assuming you have a spouse/partner/politically correct term for "significant other"). I know it's a pain, but I have a feeling Disney prefers it. I had 3 babies in my first 3 years of marriage (taking WDW trips all the while), and I became a sort of...

    Oct. Extra Magic Hours?

We are planning an October trip. The calendar is out for October on the website, and it tells what parks have Extra Magic Hours each day, but I can't find out whether it is Morning or Evening. I need this info to plan our meals and make ADRs! I tried clicking on the EMH, but it only gives...

    Disney Visa "Bonus" Rewards?

The points you accrue expire in 5 years. Once you have them transferred to your Rewards card (like the "gift card"), they expire in a year. On your statement, it should say something like "You have 67 DDRDs that expire 11/09. There is a maximum # you can accrue, though.

    Disney Visa question

I just received that same offer. The $900 is for each month. So the dollars are 5x everything over that, and then it begins again the next month. We might spend about that much on gas and groceries together (family of 6), but not more. Also, we shop at Wal-mart and SuperTarget - the fine...
