We stayed at the Boardwalk this June for a week, I can see wha you are saying with it being just like it with it's location. It seems a bit farther from Epcot but closer to DHS, but that may not be true. Either way neither park is far from any of those resorts in that area.

Those resorts look very nice, if I were forced to stay off property those would be my first choice for sure. But that dang fish is still just ugly :)

I would choose a WDW value over anything off property myself, being "in the bubble" is so much more important to us that the rating of the resort we stay at. The theming at the Values is awesome IMO, very cool :)

We are a stay on property or bust type of family. I rather stay at any resort on property than any other off property. It's the bubble for us :) The Deluxe resorts are all about location when talking about on property resorts. Room to World Showcase in 5 minutes is awesome for example. Worth...

We did years ago (2009?) but stayed off property. Flight, room, car, tickets the whole 9 yards thru SW Airlines, no problems at all. But I am not sure how the price compared to doing that all separately.

I would not care to go the a WDW resort without kids around myself. Most of the kids we see there are normal well behaved kids.

AK is getting the worst of it IMO, high cost and high increase. Of course the resort cost more to maintain so it does make sense. Our are up around $42 this year. Mickey better make it worth it!

Frozen is a hit on a unprecedented level, regardless of why or even if it merits it's status as such. Disney is reacting to that, any smart company would. This is not the 90s, Disney is reacting as they should in todays world. The demand is clearly there, Frozen is a great fit for a winter...

All true, Frozen is a beast of a property, much more so than anything before it. Disney is reacting to that as any smart business would. Tangled (which I think is a better movie) had all of the above as well but did not hit the sweet spot worldwide as Frozen has.

I like Lion King Better than Frozen but it was not nearly in demand as much as Frozen currently is. Frozen is well beyond anything before it in animation when it comes to it's popularity.

And folks were calling for the Disney executive heads on a platter not long ago around here.....looks like that won't be happening anytime soon. :greedy:
