    My Pixie Problem...

The last time we visited Tink (Nov. 2012), her sister Periwinkle was there, and only for a limited time. On other occasions, we have met Vidia, Fawn, and Iridessa!...but no Silvermist. Will be interested in hearing who "Tink's Friends" are when you go to visit the Mouse! Have a magical trip!

So...has anyone eaten a waffle/chicken sandwich at Sleepy Hollow?

The Nutella & Fruit Waffle is probably one of my favorite treats in WDW...so much so, that a friend of mine who lives in FL, and frequents the parks, will randomly "tag" me in a Facebook photo, and when I go to see what I'm being "tagged" in, it's a delicious picture of this: nuetellawaffle by...

    Trip Club February 2014

Will now have to join the "WDW Meet Up" forum, because <sniffle> our DLR got pushed back for yet another 2 years <sniffle, sniffle>. Our travel group decided that we would actually like to spend 2 weeks in Cali visiting more sites than just DLR...knowing that I'll finally get to visit Northern...

    MK Halloween Party Question

The party "officially" begins at 7 pm. Guests who are still wandering MK after the official start time who are not sporting an event wristband are asked, and sometimes guided, to exit the park. This method doesn't always curb "free loaders" from sticking around...there are CM's on the lookout...

    MK Halloween Party Question

You may enter MK as early as 4 pm with your MNSSHP tickets. If the other adult has a party ticket, he/she can enter MK as well as early as 4 pm. There will be CM's inviting event ticket holders to use "turnstiles" on the far right. After entering, you will then be given a wristband, which...

    Flying with Kids...

As a seasoned WDW traveler and a seasoned flier, both with children, here are my experiences and tips: 1. Be sure to give yourself enough time at the airport: checking bags, getting boarding passes, getting thru security, and picking up goodies before boarding the plane can all eat up precious...

    Star Wars Weekends 2014

I am getting that feeling that SWW is progressively getting larger than life! I am hoping to hit up SWW the first weekend it opens, but I have to wait until my sister's school year starts and she finds out: 1. When her prom will be held? 2. What week finals will be given?, which leads to...

    Star Wars Weekends 2014

I kinda figured we'd have to wait...and wait...and wait some more. I am guessing we will pick 1 celebrity to meet and then enjoy the festivities.

Epipen and inhalers on the plane

My oldest DD has asthma & needs her quick-relief inhaler on hand...on our most recent trip to WDW (June 2013), I placed her inhaler in a quart-sized Ziploc bag with its prescription box flattened. This baggie then went into the bin with my other "gels, creams, and liquids" (less than 3 oz.)...

    Star Wars Weekends 2014

This says it all::jawdrop: This weekend trip would be a Thurs. night-Sun. night, and it will just be me and my sister (DH & 2 DD's will be at home). Soooo, I plan on dedicating that entire trip to DHS (with a walk over to EP for a pastry or two or three). In all the years you have gone, what...

    Star Wars Weekends 2014

Good afternoon fellow Disney travelers! Today, I would like to pick the brains of forum members who have attended Star Wars Weekends...I am in the beginning stages of planning a weekend trip in May 2014 specifically for this event, which will be my first encounter with the hoopla! And the...

    Dining Plan Credits Question

The DDP can take some "getting used to," but by the end of your trip, you will most likely be pros! First off, whoever is on the reservation MUST participate in the DDP...it's all or none. For every person on the resort reservation, he/she will receive a KTTW card which has your DDP credits...

What to do when you don't have enough points...

DVC offers its members a "one-time" set of points for a nominal fee. You can purchase up to 24 points @ $15/point. Important things to remember: -You can only purchase said points per use year to put toward your reservation (points are non-bankable). -Purchase is a FINAL transaction. -Once...

Is the DDP worth it when you have small children (2-5 yrs old)?

My family and I have participated in the DDP for several trips now and here's what we've learned: -the DDP with the sit-down meal plan: not really worth it for our family. Depending on what cards you may be holding (i.e. Disney Visa, DVC, AP, TiW, D23, AAA), you could receive a better discount...
