Me too. I'd love for them to bring back a version of Star Wars Weekends where there's a change to Batuu. Life Day weekends in November, or Original Trilogy weekends in May. Something fun like that. They were official park events, definitely organized by/with the parks.

It's highly likely that the actors already had multiple theme park attraction appearances in their contracts for the trilogy. We got Finn in the TFA sequence, Poe and Hux in the TLJ sequence. Could be Rey and Kylo in the TROS sequence.

Not ludicrous at all, I find that highly likely. I'd see it as more of an OT season rather than an up-charged dessert party. I don't find that "depressingly hilarious" either, seems like a great way to take advantage of the new land they just built.

You can sit on and take pictures with the Imperial Patrol Speeder Bike that's in front of Savi's. Additional ops like that would be appreciated though.
