Walt Disney World Park Hours cut starting September 8 2020

We finally found one after having our eyes peeled for literally hours Thursday... a cart outside Echo Lake between Hollywood and Vine and Dockside Diner. It took all day though and that was the only one we saw.

POLL: When are you planning to return to Walt Disney World?

The truth of each person only being able to be infected once has yet to be proven accurate, so we have no idea how long mitigation efforts will be necessary.

    News EPCOT 2020 reopening reports

I don't think that the people saying "Disney needs to open up more capacity to the locals" or "Disney needs to allow hopping again" are correct. Disney is still taking lumps for even being open. They are one bad viral picture or video away from another round of absolutely brutal PR and...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

I understand your frustration but I think if you believe Disney plans to operate their parks in this fashion indefinitely (no park hopper, park reservations, etc.) then you are letting your short-term anger get the best of you. They have to make some concessions now just to get the park open...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Got 7 days worth of reservations as an off site ticket holder this morning for first week of August. Couldn't have been easier. My condolences to those of you who have had and continue to have issues. Hope they get sorted. Hope Florida doesn't have to re-institute a shutdown.

What is one thing you wish you could have done differently

Last trip, we tried to do a 2 day one leaving Thursday night, and getting back Sunday morning. Well our last flight out of ATL was cancelled due to "weather issues", so we had to fly in Fri. morning, which basically eliminated everything we were going to do Friday until about 1 PM. Ended up...

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

I loved this movie, and wasn't expecting to at all. I don't know if this has been covered in this thread, but I feel like this movie was conceptualized partially with the ride in mind. Just makes a lot of sense, since I doubt they greenlight anything that does not have some kind of corporate...

The Hall of Presidents to reopen before Christmas

Way to not be political. So, Hall of Presidents closed in October 2008, and didn't reopen until July 4, 2009 with Obama. An 8 month refurbishment which included a re-working of the show. With Bush, it closed in July and re-opened in "late Fall", a less than 5 month refurbishment, depending on...

The Blue Paint on the Tomorrowland Rock is Starting to Come Off Already

You were clearly right there, would it have killed you to just like rub your shirt in there and get most of it off?

Guest fixed an Issue with a CM last week...

What difference does it make if he's a celebrity or not? If someone wants to ride in this fashion to get a picture with a certain group of people, it shouldn't matter if they are a celebrity or not, CMs should be accommodating.

Crowds are down? Curious about the claims . . .

This is absolutely correct. I work for a large grocery chain, and they are not primarily looking to bring in new customers. It costs them 10 times more to bring in 10 new customers to spend $1 each as it does to get an already loyal customer to spend an extra $10. If you can convince all of...

    Small World figure missing?

I guess some of the dolls forgot to pay their protection money on time. Just a little reminder to the others to keep them in line.

    New Return Procedure at Soarin'

In my day, they didn't even have any of these "rides"... you paid $75 and went to stand in a field, and if you didn't like the field, you stood in the parking lot. And you know what, WE LIKED IT.

    Disco Yeti Forever

Maybe when Avatar opens they will have enough "other stuff" for people to do to make shutting down the ride for a period a real possibility. But I agree with most that it probably will stay like this for the life of the ride.

Uni Locks Away Patent for Rainy Day

You should really know better than to think they spent over a billion dollars on just a front of the line system. There are many, many legitimate business reasons that they spent that money. Now whether or not they will see a return on it is debatable, but this is about much more than a "FOTL"...

Norway Post Show Movie being Replaced.....for now?

Wouldn't surprise me, as when I was there a few weeks ago, they had stopped running the Norway movie. I was actually somewhat disappointed.
