Walking from Fantasyland to Liberty Square to Frontierland. It's my favorite area and I don't really know why. The atmosphere just makes me happy.

I totally agree! This annoys me. First Ohana now my FAVORITE mushroom risotto. I might try it, though, based on Tiggerish's recommendation. I've crossed Ohana off the list unless the chicken comes back.

I totally get you. Last year, we went in mid-October. A friend went about a month later, and I remember feeling pain at the thought of her being there. I mean, I don't know if "depression" is quite accurate, but I really just felt SAD.

I live in Cincinnati, OH and King's Island charges ~$90/day. The difference in quality is night and day. Don't get me wrong, I have fun at KI but would rather do Disney in a milli-second!

We were there last fall, not on October 31, on a night that was sold out. I stressed about it all day, as soon as I saw the event had sold out. Turned out to be very manageable. I would never have guessed it was sold out. The parade was crazy packed but everything else was a total blast.

I totally agree that it is most likely the fear of lawsuits. As far as I can tell, "laws" about liability in these cases are treated as general guidelines, and lawyers can twist things easily. Juries are easily swayed and once they feel emotionally connected/engaged, the letter of the law goes...

I have a whole series of pictures from the ferry to the MK from each of my trips. Why do I need 30 pictures, getting closer and closer and closer. I don't know. It's an involuntary reaction!

I am excited by this but still feel I'll be kind of out of luck if my FP+ are pre-booked in the afternoon. I still have to do only stand-by in the mornings. So- do I want to go to my preferred park in the morning and take my chances for FP+ in the afternoons? Hmmm, will need to think more...

I see they're going to offer a family-style turkey dinner. Do they ever do this at Thanksgiving? We were there a couple of years ago that time of year, and they weren't open so I don't expect they will. I've never actually seen it used as anything other than a dance party venue at MNSSHP.

These comments are super helpful. I'm seriously thinking of making this our "adventurous" ADR this year. I'll try just about anything, but not quite sure about DH and DD. The show looks like such fun, though, that it might be time to give it a try!

We will be there the same week. Were there same time 2 years ago. My biggest tip would be- bring jeans/pants and a jacket. The days were perfect for me, but it was pretty chilly after sunset for DD and me.

I don't check any email, turn on the TV at all, or read/listen to the news. At all. With a very plugged-in family, DH and I take pride in truly disconnecting at the World. All of this comes with the obvious disclaimer that we use the app to navigate our trip. There's not much of a choice...

Did you just happen to try and were able to do it? Did you an email notification? We went during the testing period last fall, and never got an email. I just kept checking myDisneyExperience and they were magically available one day. We're going again this fall but I'm curious how it works...
