FastPass+ booked at 87 days out

I am still 87 days way from our vacation at WDW, and I was able to somewhat book FastPass+ experiences. I wasn't able to choose my park, but I was able to do a FastPick. The only park I was able to FastPick for was Epcot. I'm sure this is a glitch. Anyone else able to book FastPass+ this early?

Did you just happen to try and were able to do it? Did you an email notification? We went during the testing period last fall, and never got an email. I just kept checking myDisneyExperience and they were magically available one day. We're going again this fall but I'm curious how it works now post-"roll-out."

I just happened to try it. Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I paid my trip completely off yesterday.

My whole problem with this system is what happens if I book Expedition Everest today for 3 months out and it rains on that day and I can't ride. Is there a rain-check system in place?

You can change/modify your selections at any time up to the point where you use your fast pass to gain entry into the ride, or at the expiration of your time slot. If it rains that day, you make your changes earlier in the day to something else.

If they shut down the ride, they give you a fast pass option that you can use for any ride, doesn't matter what time, and you don't need to reschedule it either.
