Posted this on the Muppet*Vision preservation thread, but figured people over here would be supportive of this:
I saw a comment over on Tom Bricker’s site encouraging people to nominate Muppet*Vision to the Library of Congress’s National Film Registry. To qualify for it, a film must be at least...
I saw a comment over on Tom Bricker’s site encouraging people to nominate Muppet*Vision to the Library of Congress’s National Film Registry. To qualify for it, a film must be at least 10 years old and culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. I believe that Muppet*Vision fills all...
I love this! Off the top of my head:
Epcot:
Kimballum Horriblus (World of Motion, 1982)
Horizons Robot (1983)
Bill McKim and Sherry (Test Track, 1998)
Mission Space Guy (2003)
JASON (The Living Seas, 1986)
Wonders of Life (1989)
Buzzy
General Knowledge
Captain Braddock
Mission Commander

As a huge Muppets fan who thinks that Muppet*Vision is one of their three greatest works, I am surprised to be very happy with and even excited by this compromise! It’s a shame we’re losing the show, but as long as there’s Muppets representation in the park there’s always a chance it returns in...
Personally, I’m very happy that the show is getting a real, dignified closure, a likely to be good replacement, and a continued Muppets presence at the park that will likely grow. Not like what happened at DCA at all.
I don’t think I really agree with this. Rock ‘N’ Roller is a coaster through a big black box with some blacklight cutouts. The major work here will be in the queue, but even that can remain largely similar to how it currently is. This is a very fast roller coaster, I don’t have my hopes up for...
That's all fair, but, as a great lover of the Muppets, it isn't all that great of a land. I love Muppet*Vision, one of my favorite Disney attractions of all time, but I do think that a coaster will work for the Muppets if executed well and properly chaotic. I'm choosing to hold out hope that the...
I’m curious as to how the timeline here will shake out! I assume Disney won’t close MV3D until the probably quick RNR retheme is completed? If so, will there be a brief period of DHS where there’s two Muppets attractions?
And I did not speak up, for I was not a troll.
And I did not speak up, for I was not a Munchkin.
And I did not speak up, for I was not a log flume.
And I did not speak up, for I was not a bear.
And I did not speak up, for I was not a puppet.
I can't believe this, but I'm happy! Monsters gets a show, Animation Courtyard can be the sacrificial Zootopia lamb that saves EPCOT or Animal Kingdom, Muppets gets a coaster and Muppet*Vision is either put on Disney+ or eventually moved to Sunset Showcase. I'm very satisfied with this compromise!

Enjoy, everyone!
The funniest timeline is the one where Mermaid goes to replace Muppets, and Monsters replaces Animation Courtyard. Thus, Monsters replaces both.
(I’m aware that the Muppets theater is too small for Mermaid)
Goofy’s Sandwich Scramble!
Coming soon to Toontown, Goofy searches for the perfect sandwich to snack on! Entering through Goofy’s house, guests board an indoor Whip ride, surrounded by projection mapping showing the countryside in the style of Runaway Railway and the Rudish cartoons, with...
Potter and Star Wars. They just feel wrong for their respective parks to me. HP is that more timeless Disney fantasy vibe, and Star Wars fits that more edgy sci-fi Universal feeling.
