    New Check-in test Art Animation

I COMPLETELY agree. I don't want a close personal relationship with the person working there. I think the desk creates a bit of professionalism. I don't want to be their best friend, I don't want to have to tell them all about my day, etc. Last summer, I checked into a hotel (not disney...

    Talking through Attractions

The first time I took my kids to Disney, we rode It's a Small World, we sat in front, two women behind us spent the ENTIRE ride complaining about people at their work. It was SO UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING. They were doing this in line, and I didn't think much of it, but it continued the whole time...

Vacation Insurance or No Vacation Insurance

It was a complete and total freaking nightmare. It would've been hard enough had this happend at their house 30 minutes from where I live, but to happen thousands of miles away in Belize...

Vacation Insurance or No Vacation Insurance

My two cents. Although I realize this is probably staying in the US, if traveling outside the US, I wouldn't leave home without it. I used to not think that way until a month ago when my parents were on a cruise that happened to be docked in Belize. (Carnival, not Disney). My mom got sick...

Ride(s) you will not go on...

Last time I rode this, which was already a few years ago, I was way into all the switches, trying to be very serious about all of it, and then I realized there was a foreign couple next to me, and they were very confused to what I was doing, they were looking at each other, trying to figure out...

Veteran members please forgive question regarding 6 month old at Disney

It's too bad when people have to apologize so much for asking a question.

Ride(s) you will not go on...

Seriously? Would you go on it if it were in what you consider a more fitting location? You would skip a ride JUST because of where it's located? I don't get that.

I would punch the moose right in the nose.

    New Dumbo Question

You shouldn't feel bad about asking your question, there's no such thing as a dumbo question.

I seemed to remember a scene in Spaceship Earth different. Was it?

Contrary to what people may think they remember, the Epcot of the good ol' times wasn't a college degree. It was interesting and all, but let's be honest, to say it was completely educational and today is not educational at all is a bit of a stretch. If you were to go to epcot right now today...

I seemed to remember a scene in Spaceship Earth different. Was it?

You know, I actually do think it does ruin the ride, maybe not entirely, but some. It's one of those ways of being different to appealing to different senses. Let's face it, a lot of people fell in love with Horizons partly because of the oranges.

I seemed to remember a scene in Spaceship Earth different. Was it?

Agreed. Spaceship Earth is almost always a great go-to ride for a short wait. I think I've had to wait 20 minutes one time in the past several years. And I can only go during peak summertime or christmas time. Samething with Nemo.

    Construction near Wilderness Lodge?

How is the water level controlled? I'm sure the water in there isn't stagnant and that it drains to the ocean (or the gulf). So making the lagoon smaller wouldn't make the water level go up. And if the level is controlled naturally or by some dam or pump system, either way, the water level...

    The Zoo at Animal Kingdom

Both of those walking trails are really great. The ruins that the tigers are in is just awesome. Better than most zoos I've been to.

    Seaworld for Toddlers

You posted this several months ago, so maybe your plans have completely changed. But we just got back from taking my almost 3 year olds to Sea World. They loved it. There are lots of shows they really liked, and the kids rides area is very good. The food is...eh, but not terrible. I...

Just back from our first non-Disney Orlando trip.

Yes, the little kids affect that. We've done universal before, and it's a great place all around. Especially if staying in one of their hotels. But I didn't think there would be enough for my twin 2 1/2 year olds to really enjoy there. Obviously the older you get, the more appreciation you...

Excellent question. People are so fast at doing that.

Just back from our first non-Disney Orlando trip.

Not a troll. And I understand the idea of paying for higher quality. But I strongly disagree that Busch Gardens "sucks". As I said, this was the first time we've ever done an orlando vacation that didn't include disney and I thought I'd pass along my thoughts. My point is that I was...

Just back from our first non-Disney Orlando trip.

Riiiighhhtt. Why does it suck? How did you get your money back? How long were you in the park before you decided to get your money back? Did you just go up to the ticket office and complain and they just gave you your money back? What did you say to them to convince them you needed a...

Just back from our first non-Disney Orlando trip.

For the record, this was not a trip to protest the evils of Disney or anything like that. It was just to try something new....for a WHOLE LOT LESS $$$ by the way.
