I often wonder the same thing. It's not entirely different than, "I've never been do Disney and I'll never go there, so there!!!"
I used to find myself having that attitude about a lot of things, but really had no idea why.
...without it being a multi- hour affair?
I'm reading stuff like how it's hours in line to have lunch there. Is that true? Is there any hope of having lunch without losing the entire morning to standing in line for it?
What are the experiences of those who have done it or heard about it...
From the detroit area, it makes for a long first day, but there is a nice fairfield inn off of 75 in macon. Fairfield is a marriott hotel, which is what we choose to stay at also.
The person who this thread is originally about somehow spends 3 or 4 straight days at sesame place, as in all day long. I don't get it. We had a 4 day vacation, but only spent probably a total of 12 to 15 hours actually in sesame place. There just isn't enough to do. I think it's a matter of...
Whoah! Can you keep us updated on the subsequent comments?
And by the way, no idea how long you've been together, how old you are, or how serious, but if he doesn't stand up for you on this, that might be a signal that he never will.
I completely get that not everyone in the world is a Disney vacation fan. Some people have never gone and will never go. I think a lot of them are like that because they have a misunderstanding of what is there. Others have been there, 30+ years ago, and don't realize that it's completely...
For those who are so much against strollers, you seem to be saying that people who do use strollers have the attitude of "I have a stroller and I will run over anyone who is anywhere near me!!!" But I'm starting to think those who are against strollers have the attitude of, "I do not have a...
Oh, don't get me wrong, I know Florida really well. Just last year, we did a non-Disney Orlando trip (Sea World, Green Meadows Farm, Busch Gardens). I've done Universal after a cruise. I've been to the Tampa area tons of times. Been on many cruises out of miami/fort lauderdale. Been the the...
Someone asked me the strangest Disney question, at least I thought it was strange, then I realized that maybe I have an addiction problem. We, wife and two kids, are doing down the first week of January (can't believe it's less than 3 weeks away). We'll be staying 5 nights at the Caribbean...
Going to the mouse for the first time in two years and haven't kept up to date as much as I would've liked. What do I need to know about?
I'm aware of the new fantasyland expansion, but not all the details.
What's with this fast pass plus? Do I need to know anything about it? Or is it the...
There just isn't much to it. The amount of time that it takes to get to the only good part just makes it not worth while. Catastrophe canyon is pretty neat, but just enough to justify all the other stuff, especially since the residential street was removed.
I suppose some of the boneyard...
(Although I expect it to happen, this is NOT intended to be another fastpass war, so please try to avoid that)
I have a hypothesis on something, and I'm wondering what those on this board
think. It has to do with the constant war between those who love fastpass
and those who hate it. I...
Not always. I boarded a Delta plane for a 9 hour transatlantic flight, completely full flight by the way, where seatguru told me there were personal tvs in each seat only to be horrified to find that it was wrong.
This reminds me of a time when I saw this couple walking around the main plaza area of epcot with a tray of food from the Electric Umbrella, just eating off of the tray as they walked about.
Not that I'm saying there was anything wrong with it, just slightly odd and kind of funny.
I think it was changed right about the same time they changed the falling rocks in the Jungle Cruise scene and stopped the real cannonballs from flying overhead in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
But not everyone wants to interact with people. Not everyone is the kind of person who just enjoys striking up a conversation with a stranger. It doesn't mean that person isn't nice, they just don't like doing that. I know I don't. I'm still a nice person, I just don't want to make small...
