    water park advice

If there is a man in your party, most swim shorts have a small velcro pocket in them which is perfect (and safe) for keeping KTTW card in. The Key is waterproof. By the time you are going they may be all the new wristbands anyway. The only other things i would take are a towel and dry pair of...

    Outside of Disney

Kennedy Space Centre was a great day away from WDW last time for us. The kids (17,15,13) want to go back again in October. My choice though would be Busch Gardens, I love the mix of great coasters and wildlife.

What Park to Take Girlfriend To?

This is word for word what I was going to say to you. Someone that has never been before will only think about a park with a castle. No matter how much they would enjoy Epcot, they would still be thinking that MK might have been even better.

    A Dream Come True

We have just made a few people very happy. We have cancelled our booking for 2 studios at BWV for 2 weeks in October. Those that had them on their wait list will now get what they want. We have changed our booking to a 2 bedroom at OKW.

For all of the beer lovers out there

I can in no way call myself a beer snob, I will drink anything as long as its cold. The Ale house near the crossroads area always seems to have a good selection.

Anyone here that used to hate Disneyworld?

Never hated it, but certainly had no interest in ever going. I only went because my new wife really wanted to go for our honeymoon. Now 20 years later we have DVC and I'm still looking forward to 20 more years of trips.

Animal Kingdom, Boardwalk or Old Key West

I love the boardwalk. It has a decent pool and is a great location. Im not sure about play areas, my kids are past that stage and I dont recall seeing one anywhere. As far as quick service dining goes there is no where better to stay, don't forget you are a few minutes walk from all of World...

DVC prices per point increasing in March

If they are not selling at the moment because of the economic situation the they can set any price they want and it will make no difference. However, when things start to improve they can pretend that there is a huge discount and sell them at the original price.

    The Parks Beyond Midnight.

On our trip last August we were there after midnight (don't remember the exact time) and it was so quiet that they actually let us sit on the train on Big Thunder and ride multiple times without getting off.

    BWV QUESTIONS

I would doubt that a 1br with standard view will be available at the 7 month window. We couldn't get one 10.5 months out during the F&W. if you are lucky it will be a view of the car park are the front area of the resort.

The most unusual thing you see on your way to WDW

    Not a welcome sight

How busy is too busy? How long are you willing to wait?

That's what single rider lines are for :)

The most unusual thing you see on your way to WDW

Yes it is. I didn't think it was known outside NE England, never mind NE USA.

The most unusual thing you see on your way to WDW

LOL, sounds like something we would do. Theres another smaller local landmark that the kids all shout "theres Buzz Lightyear" everytime we pass.

The most unusual thing you see on your way to WDW

We travel from all parts of the world to reach the same destination, but we all have very different journeys. What the one thing that stands out on your journey to WDW? For me its very close to home, theres nothing else like it in the UK as far as I know. It's even more relevant on the journey...

How busy is too busy? How long are you willing to wait?

It's changed over the years. The first time we visited we just stood in line for everything. We didn't know when, if ever, we would get to return. We also did the whole Orlando area (Disney, Universal, Kennedy, Seaworld and Busch), commando style for the 2 weeks we were there. These days, we own...

    Off-Site or On-Site?

How long a trip and what time of year is that for? If that's over a long weekend then stay off site. If its 10 days or more then it may still be worth the stretch, especially if free dining would be available.

    Pin Codes

Universal parks are well worth a visit. I'm a DVC owner and have still paid to stay in the Royal Pacific, it was worth it for the front of line passes. We hadn't intended on doing it, but they offered a really good deal during the time we were there. We already had our DVC room booked, so we...

    Camera You Bring?

Same camera I have now. As has been stated the biggest difference is night shots, especially the fireworks. I had tried several cameras before and had never been able to get good pics of the castle and fireworks together. The only downsides are the size and the need to have additional lenses for...

A Must-Do List Universal Parks for a First Timer

If there's a queue I wouldn't bother with Dr Doom. If you have time in Universal I think the monster make up show is fun. I know it hasn't changed for 20 years, but you have never seen it before so that doesn't matter.
