Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Maybe they will re-theme the Star Tours ride to another IP.

The Boneyard playground at Animal Kingdom refurbishement in February - March 2016

Will this be receiving any lighting enhancements like so many other areas of the park?

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride

Thanks for the photo, I recall seeing that now. I just wondered if the type of ride is something they would look at changing during the construction stage since one of the major concerns stated on here will be capacity. I know the argument against it will be costs but is there any precedent for...

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride

I know the assumption is that the track is going to remain mostly the same (besides the minor addition) but what are the ride vehicles expected to be? Is it possible that this is no longer a boat/flume ride but an omnimover with sleighs or something else themed more closely to Frozen? This would...

Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride

Beauty eh! As a Canuck who appreciates self-deprecating humour (Canadian spelling) I wish Disney had tapped these two to be the hosts of the Canadian pavilion movie.

'Club Villain' ticketed event coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in January 2016

I was initially outraged at the thought of this being a paid attraction, just as many others are, due to the fact that so much is being shuttered in DHS. However if this is looked at as a glorified Character Dining experience, and not an attraction, it is not that dissimilar from other...

    Canadian Visitors

We are considering a trip next August and are hesitant to book now or wait an see how the exchange changes over the next few months. I know in the past that Disney has offered Canadian money at par but would we need to experience a sustained low (an possibly a decline in Canadian travel) before...

    Kong Skull Island rendering

It was announced at ComicCon today that a new King Kong movie based on Skull Island is coming to theatres in November 2016. It would make sense if these two projects are connected.

Man's Best Friend Attraction for DAK

I agree with both of your aguments in a sense. Perhaps cinematic importance was a poor choice of words as I thought each scene and the ride in general could demonstrate the relationship between the characters. I used cinematic importance because I don't think any other animal has been the focus...

Man's Best Friend Attraction for DAK

It is surprising to me that there are no attractions dedicated to dogs at WDW. There are so many live action and animated Disney movies with dogs either in starring, secondary or supporting roles. Yet no rides or shows. My proposal is to create a dark ride/great movie ride styled hybrid...

    Monsters inc

My wife and I went for our Honeymoon. The second time we were in Monsters Inc, the two of us were shown together on the screen. The caption read "Woman spotted kissing a monster", with me being the monster. We weren't actually kissing but we both thought it was very funny.

How much is there to enjoy in the WS pavilions???

I think it was $20 each at the time (July '09). That got us 6 samples each at about 2-3 ounzes a sample. The German samples were definitely more generous and more like half a glass of wine each. Maybe that's why we liked them best.

How much is there to enjoy in the WS pavilions???

My wife and I tried the "wine tour" and really enjoyed it. The 3 countries that participate are Germany, Italy and France. You are given a card at whichever pavillion you choose to start at and then 2 samples from each country. The samples aren't large by any means but it was fun comparing...

"Unique" Items to Pack for Disney Trips!

Camelbak backpack. I get easily dehydrated which usually results in headaches, so I bought the 2L version and filled it with ice at the resort before going to the parks. Some people look at you funny for drinking through a tube from your backpack but its better than carrying a bunch of water...

Interesting rumors about marvel in dl & wdw

I also think that a conversion of the Marvel attractions at IOA to DC themes is the way to go for Universal. The film rights to DC properties is controlled by WB, who also happen to distribute the Potter series. Universal and WB have shown to have a working and profitable relationship by...

What About An Indoor Toon Town?

I have never read any of the Narnia stories either, so I can't really comment on them in any sense of their appeal. However the purpose of that attraction it seems was to draw people's attention to the movie. Not only is it now several years old, but Disney dumped the rights to the franchise...

    Indiana Jones

I am for anything Indy. I would even enjoy a walk through attraction that has recreated some of the best sets and locations from the movies. Most people will probably suggest its too boring and expensive, but I read complaints about the old backlot sets being gone and others are raving about...
