Poor quality has come up a lot.

Yes. You get a statement credit for it. As the poster above noted, also for global entry.

Poor quality has come up a lot.

Pay with your AMEX (and maybe some other cards), and it's free. I wish I could use my AMEX at Epcot for a free dinner. ;-)

Best approach for securing dining reservations?

What is the size of your group? On our last family trip, I had to split up to get a couple places we wanted.

    After Hours ever again?

They definitely had hours in oct and dec, those are the months we most often attend, they definitely are far and few between at MK with all the parties. It’s a shame they don’t offer more for AK, because Pandora at night is pretty pointless without hours after dark.

    After Hours ever again?

We used to plan our days around the parks with morning and evening hours, I miss that. But my favorite in recent times were the EEMH when GE opened. 5:30am bus to enter the park at 6:30 and 2 glorious hours without almost NO ONE there, it was amazing. We have photos with the Millennium Falcon...

    Are we just spoiled?

I'm just disappointed they didn't take the time when the parks were empty to really get stuff done. Some parts of the country may have been shut down, but construction was fast and furious in the southeast (that was my industry in the covid years), and Florida sure wasn't shut down. They could...

Tokyo Disney has cracked down on Disney Vlogging, would you want the US parks to follow suit?

I quit the other dis site because people found ways to argue about things that didn't merit arguments... it's funny how this is happening on every single forum, everywhere. I see arguments on groups for HHN, for volunteer orgs, disney, sports, whatever. Can't we all just get along and save the...

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

Maybe Disney should buy Six Flags. Raise prices for the core premium parks, and convert Six Flags into a budget version of the parks people want but can't afford. ;-) But then, you'd need to raise Six Flags prices to keep out the types that like destroying property as much as roller coasters...

    Disney Survey

What's weird to me is they both require a date for a ticket AND a reservation. Seems like they could be smarter with ticket purchase, room reservations, etc, to take the pain out of the process. Let's see I've purchased my plane ticket, but forgot to reserve my seat! Dangit.

Tokyo Disney has cracked down on Disney Vlogging, would you want the US parks to follow suit?

I think it could be solved with big signs at the entrance informing of etiquette and empowering cast members to enforce it when necessary. The big sign that people will ignore at least serves as "notice." Most of the time, vloggers aren't annoying, but they can be VERY annoying if they happen...

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

When you price "families like mine" that seek value in passes, guess what we do? We find value in other activities. Our kids enjoy going to Disney, but our kids don't ASK to go to Disney. For "families like mine," a pass wouldn't mean we'd be there constantly, but we'd visit more often. I...

SeaWorld Orlando's Antarctica Ride Oddly Closed and Silent

We got passes to SW in 2020 and have had them since. No park treats passholders as well. They’ve certainly had issues with staffing over the last couple years, but our experience has been leaps and bounds better than with Disney parks over the same period.

    Sightlines are being destroyed everywhere

Green paint and you won’t even see it. Lol. The guardians building is a travesty.

How different is a winter vacation?

Are there really any sweet spots left, lol? I remember the good ole days. We would go the week after Thanksgiving. Or the week after school starts. Or in the dead spot of winter. Everyone figured out all the tricks, dagnabbit. My favorite trick, and don't tell anyone... is to wait for a...

How different is a winter vacation?

We have been in every month, I think? I love the fall and winter. Your kids may be willing to hop in a pool, but you may not be so eager. Some hotels have heated pools and the kids love it. ;-) We've seen 40 degree nights in October and almost or maybe even freezing temps in the winter. It...

    I fell asleep in.....................(name attraction)

As a parent of 3 kids that often takes all 3 to parks by myself due to work schedules and willingness, I will not lie. I actually leverage some rides JUST for the ability to catch a break. - Carousel of Progress. I love this ride, but I've ridden it so many times, I can squeeze in a nap from...

Are there really that many vloggers at the parks?

LOL, yes! I love seeing girls randomly posing in 100 different ways trying to show off their, um, whatevers... to post. Have seen it all over at all of the parks, but the prize goes to these girls at a resort pool that were wearing south beach attire and brought out a giant speaker and a stand...

Are there really that many vloggers at the parks?

I won't lie, when we see one, one of my kids and I always immediately start acting like we are also shooting a vlog. Camera at arm's length, saying stupid and obvious stuff to it. LOL. We've met a couple in person and actually hung out at big events like NYE, and they have been cool. I can't...
