My friend went to GE Sunday night. 15 minutes after being let into the land (8pm), Oga's had already stopped taking reservations and Savi's Workshop had run out of parts. Oga's being full didn't surprise me, but that's the first I've heard of Savi's being closed.

I wouldn't be surprised with high no-show rates. With the "everyone has to be there" requirement, I'm not sure how many people would delay entering the land if someone was running late :). Would be interesting to get some more data about sales. Are sales low because they aren't letting...

But how far in advance do you have to reserve? Can you reserve same day/late day? I'm wondering if people with the new Flex passes aren't casually showing up later in the day like many of the old APers.

I was surprised my non-Disney friends knew about the reservation requirement. It sounds like the morning news shows have done a good job letting people know about the restrictions. I also think late August and the week after Labor Day will be the real test as more AP's are unblocked.

I'm confused. How do you get from the new stairs/escalators to the tram loading area? Are you going to have to walk across the tram road or is there going to be a new loading area on the outside of the loop?
