    Stuff Nobody Says

The Last Airbender was a great movie.

    Animatronics

    1) I've always had a soft spot for the Hitchhiking Ghosts in the Haunted Mansion. 2) Abraham Lincoln in the Hall of Presidents. It can stand up! 3) I could say the entirety of the Hall of Presidents or American Adventure, but instead I'll say the ballroom scene in Haunted Mansion. It's...

    Aladdin Ride Ideas

I have two ideas for an Aladdin ride at Disney World. Both would be based around the scene in which Aladdin escapes from the Cave of Wonders: 1) It would be a 3D ride akin to Star Tours or The Simpsons Ride in Universal Studios, or 2) It would be an epic, effects-laden roller coaster a la...

    Scariest moment at the park?

I don't scare easily, but drop tower rides get me every time. I have somewhat of a fear of heights, but heights don't scare me as much as falling. So, basically, every time I go on Tower of Terror, just before the drop comes, I feel like I'm gonna lose it.

    Worst Attraction at WDW

I've never seen a bad attraction at WDW, but I've learned that It's a Small World is almost unbearable in a certain frame of mind (i.e. waiting to get off but stalled in boat traffic at the end of the ride and having to listen to that song over and over and over again). Also, I'll say this...

How to fight post-Disney trip depression?

I'm curious: for those of you that live close to Disney World (or Disneyland, for that matter), do you still deal with this sort of depression after leaving? I ask because I would imagine that if you're within a close distance to the park, leaving doesn't feel as bad as someone going back to...

    Escape from Tomorrow

Oh... Well, it was recently released on Blu-Ray & DVD. Do you have the link to that discussion? I'd like to read it. :)

    Escape from Tomorrow

Some of you already know about this, but there's a low-budget film that's just been released called Escape from Tomorrow. Basically, it's a movie about a man who has a psychological breakdown during a trip with his family to Disney World. The movie is noteworthy because it was filmed on location...

    America: Overworked?

I was just thinking about this question. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like it's becoming harder and harder for Americans to make a living in this day and age. As a result, we spend more time working than we do on other things. Do you think we're overworked?

    Favorite (and best) queue?

In the Haunted Mansion, does the stretching room count as a queue?

    Favorite (and best) queue?

Expedition Everest, hands down. The queue for that ride made me feel like we were about to do something really dangerous by going on this ride, like the Yeti was a legitimate threat to our safety.

    Favorite era of WDW's HM?

Actually, I like the current HM more than the previous versions. I thought the two best changes they made were the smallest: 1) The lightning flashes that change the gallery paintings make it so much creepier than having them slowly transform over time. 2) The piano music in the library scene...

    7 Dwarfs Mine Train was...

When I was at WDW, they had laid down the tracks for the ride but that was about it. From what I've seen in videos, it looks like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but for kids. And with dwarfs.

WDW Photographers Gallery (all images welcome)

WDW8 by EyeofDaniel831, on Flickr This is my favorite picture I took in the Haunted Mansion. The low exposure trails were unintentional, but somehow, they make the picture work... And for a non-Disney image... ABG23 by EyeofDaniel831, on Flickr

Downtown Disney Archways Have Been Demolished

    Well, that kinda sucks...

Downtown Disney Archways Have Been Demolished

I'm confused about this: is Disney Springs going to replace Downtown Disney, or will it be an expansion of it?

    How to Deal?

Lol you'll just have to wait it out! :) Watch some videos of the rides, watch some Disney movies, do whatever you have to do to keep yourself occupied. And make sure nothing happens that will interfere with your trip.
