We have other names for our favorite rides and places.

When my DS was little he said the road conditions were the same on Test Track as on the street we lived, Oak Street. After that, we always called test Track “Oak Street.”

Dinner and breakfast advice for 50th Anniversary

For Breakfast I recommend the Grand Florian Cafe, My DW and I had our first breakfast as man and wife there and it has always been a favorite of ours. For dinner California Grill is a Great choice Yachtsman or if affordable Victoria and Alberts are others I would recommend. Best wishes on your 50th.

    Drunkest Day at Disney

Our Disney-moon, dinner at Bistro de Paris, champagne before we ate. A bottle of wine with our meal followed by after dinner brandy. All of which resulted in a little souvenir we named Jake.

Dining Suggestions for a Honeymooning Couple

I recommend the California Grill for the food, the view and watching the fireworks from the roof of the Contemporary. I also recommend a character meal, as you mentioned 1900 Park Fare is good or possibly Chef Mickey’s. Whispering Canyon or 50’s Prime Time Café may be fun for them as well.

What items have you lost at WDW and never recovered?

My DS managed to lose his sunglasses 3 days running on one trip, and aside from the obvious joke regarding money, and my senses. I lost all respect for most of my in-laws during a grand gathering family trip about 10 years ago.

    Shula's at the Dolphin?

Shula’s is expensive but I believe Yachtsman’s and several other signature restaurants cost about the same. Shula’s is also IMHO the best steakhouse on property and has a good dessert menu as well.

A free trip to Disney vs. a trip to the Super Bowl (or a favorite location of yours)

I did super bowl XXIII in Miami circa 1989 and one was more than enough. I will take a WDW anytime.

We have never had a bad experience; in fact, the only real complaint was when we stayed in Polynesian before the refurb. The bathroom was...

    People Watching in the World

The lobby of my resort in the morning with a cup of coffee while waiting for my DW is a great spot. Sitting on bench in the world showcase with a beverage of choice is another.
