ITA with you, but, your non smoking preference is only for your room, not the out of doors, except at the parks. The unfortunate thing is the more non smoking rooms Disney dedicates, the more the smokers will be outside "bothering" others.

Not sure of the rules, Woody, but, I have seen it being done. Personally, I think that a rude exercise. If I smoke while waiting for a bus, I leave the queue or bus stop area and smoke FAR FAR FAR away from others. BUT, since I rarely take a bus anywhere at anytime, it is not an issue for me. :)

Yeppers Woody, outdoors at the parks is different from outdoors at the resorts. Parks have designated areas for smoking. IMHO, a GREAT idea for the parks.

They cannot block out what they don't own. It is my understanding that they do the exhange one on one.

I am definitely no sure how you can possible equate smoking with pool hopping or the breaking of rules. Smoking in the proper places and proper times is not breaking any rules. Pool hopping (if not a DVC) member is breaking the rules all the time.

I assume you understand about rules, right? Well it is against the rules to pool hop. Simple, easy to understand. If you stay at Disney it is expected that you follow the rules.

It used to be available to DVC members, but, when they opened BCV they ended it primarily because they thought having BCV and DVC members using the pool would put a strain on the capacity.
