It changes everything! It’s literally pointless to institute a mask policy when cases are going to peak and fall within the next couple weeks. Masks will accomplish nothing.

Precisely why DeSantis outlawed mask mandates. You can’t required vaccinated individuals to mask.

Disney will “recommend” masks but won’t require them.

Masks will be recommended but not required.. that’s the furthest they can go given DeSantis’ stance on mask mandates. Personally, I don’t see how you can require a fully vaccinated individual to mask.

IMO there isn’t any need for change in current Disney policy. Ensure people mask on mass transit systems but otherwise no need to mask in the parks.

Statistically speaking you are more likely to get in a car accident driving to or from the parks than to contract a case of COVID that requires hospitalization while in the parks (if you are fully vaccinated).

That’s a valid point. Obviously most kids are not vaccinated as they are not yet approved via the FDA. That being said I firmly believe that kids shouldn’t have to mask anyways because there is very little proof they spread the virus. Per Dr. Scott Gottlieb yesterday on CNBC there really isn’t...

Thank goodness for theme park competition in Central Florida! Universal removing all mask requirements puts all the pressure on Disney. My prediction is by next weekend Disney will remove the mask requirement altogether for vaccinated guests.
