I think "disappointment" is to strong of word for such a great attraction. While it does have many flaws, I wouldn't go as far to say it's poorly designed.

Universal isn't as good at making dark rides as Disney. They kind of suck at it. I wouldn't be surprised, in fact im expecting it.

I think FEA is a great attraction. I know it's controversial because it lacks story, and tension but that's what this tangled ride is gonna be but at a smaller scale.

It looks like it will be a cute attraction with a lot of charm. I don't mind the smaller scale, however I kind of with they made another frozen ever after and did a full fleshed out Tangled ride.

I think more background characters in some of the scenes that weren’t a1000s. Kind of like human versions of Ms Potts, and Lummiere in Beauty and the beast. That would help make it feel more alive

I agree. Use of screens ≠ screen heavy attraction. The use of screens in this ride were used to amplify the presence of aas and other story telling. This is how screens should be used in rides

my biggest issue with the ride (from what I've seen) is the pacing. Why is let it go the length of three scenes. This part of the ride was beautifully done but doesn’t work well with the entirety of the ride. This is just one example of bad pacing
