Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Someone comes up with a theory and then they themselves go out and try to disprove their own theory and when all else fails and their theory is correct then they publish their findings. What we are doing is finding away to handle covid, the science changes all the time for good reason, because...

Your comments on people are better off getting a vaccine for a time is telling. If that's what you want to do, by all means enjoy. No one person is trying to stop you. The reverse is. Hey I just threw out a few studies, there are many more. You may not like them or agree with them which is...

Plus the study does involve boosters. Which in some aspects this study advocates for it.

We are all just throwing out studies. This person says this, this study says that. This other study says the total opposite. My point has always been this is a new virus, constant changing of the "science", so to mandate and demonize people who disagree isn't the wisest position in my opinion.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(21)00648-4/fulltext I believe this study is showing a lower transmission rate from the vaccines in the original covid virus, but not so much in the Delta. I didn't comb through this much, but from skimming through it, it's what I got.

New Isreal study. Basically shows natural immunity is very strong and last longer than regular vaccinated. Boosters help with both vaccinated and unvaccinated. In the report it shows about 1,400 out of the 1,600 critically I'll patients where vaccinated(not counting those who had neither...

No, I'm comparing how one wants to go about protecting themselves or how they want to handle covid. Vaccines do offer great help at fighting off covid for the first 4-6 months. Then you need boosters, and there is talk of even more boosters. There is so, so much more we can go into, but I'll...

Boardwalk sign missing many a light.

Sorry for the bump. A few weeks ago I noticed more of the bulbs around the Epcot resort area must have been replaced. It seemed fuller to me, despite the lighthouse not having any on that evening. Just wanted to give credit when credit is due, since I complain about the burnt out light bulbs.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Umm maybe an n95 mask, but these other ones don't really stop much transmission, except some larger droplets. If you can smell, your receiving and transmitting. Your also wearing a mask full of many different germs(possibly covid), thus constantly breathing it all in. But I'm neither for or...

As the paragraph in question stated, other seasonal “common-cold” coronaviruses,4 which elicit short-term immunity against mild reinfection but longer-term immunity against more severe illness with reinfection. If this were the case with SARS-CoV-2, the virus (or at least the variants studied to...

Ok the individuals decision on how to combat the virus? Handle the virus? Protect oneself from the virus? All of which I think you understood what I ment. The vaccines are obviously a debatable topic, in which why we have the reluctance. There is far more science going on than just the...

I'm willing to bet that in the end that statement turns out incorrect. I'm just trying to offer caution to demonizing people who defeat this another way. But we can agree to disagree.

Correct we don't know until time provides those answers. We do know that vaccines need boosters. Also as in the paragraph you cited, I believe it states other coronaviruses had long term immunity against severe illnesses. So hope and an end to this should be what we strive for.
