If you look at the globe in the daytime, you'll notice that it's not a full globe, the top is sliced off somewhere in north Alaska. So they can launch the fireworks through a closed globe, although I assume the central tower does need to raise.

There are problems to be faced if they were to move Cyberspace Mountain or other DQ attractions to the parks. The biggest of which is capacity. Even with the small number of people that are in DQ at any time, the lines still back up. Think about it, there are only 2 seats in each of the 8...

This is stupid and just worthlessly untrue. Go down to DTD any day that it's not raining. They are repainting the building, and they are repainting in that same blue/green, not black and red. DisneyQuest is not closing anytime in the next few years, this paintjob alone is a huge investment.
