I'M in charleston, s.c.....it takes 6 hours and that's stopping twice....once in Brunswick, GA (rest stop) or the Florida visitor center that gives out the free o.j....and then i usually stop for gas near the LPGA Blvd. in Florida. arriving in WDW just at 6 hours.....and that's driving 75-80 mph...

i live in South Carolina, so i've always driven to Florida. It's about 6 hours to WDW for me....i was just wondering. For those that drive to WDW, what are your favorite snacks to bring along for the car ride? i like to bring: -soda / water bottle -Doritos or Pringles -some kind of hard...

great news....i'll probably just wear black dress pants, a nice button-down shirt and maybe a tie perhaps....just for fun.... :slurp:

i think i'm going to take your advice. As much as I'd like to do it in front of the castle, I want it to be a little more private. Plus...at the time we're going, they're paintign the castle and I don't want to see cranes in the background when i'm proposing. So i think i wil do it in...

I'm so excited, we're eating at the California Grill during our stay this year. Has anyone been there to eat just before the WISHES fireworks? How is it....is it worth going out on the observation deck to watch? Also, what's the dress code like? Nice pants, button-down shirt and tie....or what...

well....i'm going to buy the ring next week. I'm so excited. I've been waiting to do this for a year now. I finally decided where I'm going to propose....I just have to wait until our vacation. I know it's going to burn a hole in my pocket carrying around the ring. Thank you all for your advice...

i love the beginnign of the ride....with the volcano and temple....btu then it gets cheesy just after that. I like that ride, but it feels like a "mexican-It's a Small World". Does it not. I think they could update it more.

i have a KODAK z650. the best camera i've ever owned. I paid $350 for it. I cannot wait to use it in WDW...

I've booked many vacations for Disney and in the past I've received my Disney reseravtions in the mail after paying the first deposit for the room. My question is, i've booked a package deal this time (which i've done before) and i pay the final payment this week. Will I receive my reservations...

hopefully the storms will all be gone when I go. It'll be the last week of September.....i'm praying that there are no hurricanes either.

-going to target to buy travel-size toothpaste, etc. -paying off my trip....this week. -buying new clothes to wear at WDW -packing and buying snacks for the road trip the day before
