Isn't there a Joffreys stand just to the right of where the [now former] Tip Board is? right at the end of the bridge into Discovery Island? Or is that closed now? Only because, this would seem redundant to have one just at BBQ plus the pre-existing Tip Board location...?

I definitely agree. However I venture to assume that they don't want to get into the mess that would be constantly changing names/info on registrations. They'd prefer to just do the registration process and be done with it. Hate to say it, but they have their money and they want to leave things...

Dubai is pretty progressive compared to other Muslim cities... Travel 50 miles south and it's a different story... but Dubai itself is a very modern society, believe it or not.

I was recently in Dubai-- the whole state (or "Emirate") has lots going on right now--- they are hosting Expo 2020 and doing everything they can to get themselves ready for that. Dubai's main export these days is tourism and I would venture to say that a Disney Park here might actually make sense.
