I just checked the official calendar and it shows that MK will close at 7pm on Oct. 3rd without MNSSHP and stay open until 9pm on Oct. 4th. I would also say Cinderella's Royal Table. There's nothing like spending your last meal on your last day in the heart of WDW and the MK. We did it 2 years ago and loved it. We had dinner there and it was magical.

I agree with the OP. I think its horrible that they are cutting back on one of the best and my favorite show at WDW. I wonder what's coming next. It seems like disney is making quite a few changes all at once.

Absoloutely make the reservations!!! Hopefully, its not too late already. My trip is in December 2008 and I called 180 days out (6 months out) and I couldn't even get all the places I wanted at the times I wanted. Many people call way in advance and many of the popular places get booked early...

Early December is a pretty good time to go. It's much better than the summer or hot months. Weather is great, crowds are ok although I hear its getting busier more and more this time of year since the secret is out. In Dec. 2006, the longest line was 25 min. at the Great movie Ride at MGM...

I agree with the OP. I think they need to add a new variety of characters for those of us who have been enough times where we want some new different things.

I have not heard anything about this anywhere. I don't think they would close Akershus bfst because it is pretty popular and they just added the photo package.

I have never watched Pocahontas, but was hoping to this December. I keep hearing that it isn't all that, but my DD would probably have enjoyed it. Oh well, there's other stuff for her to do and hopefully, if its true, we'll get something better.

They are not currently accepting ADR's. I'll be there in December and was hoping to go, but I still can't because I don't think it will be on the Deluxe DP and we are not willing to pay OOP for any meals since the deluxe comes with too much as it is.

I don't think its the holiday makeover. It's too early for that. They didn't do the holiday thing since 2005. My guess is to fix the sound, lights, etc. To be honest, I really wish they would tear the whole thing down. I know a lot of people like this, but its so outdated and borring...

According to the touringplans website, disney will be changing their ADR system and therefore will only be accepting ADR's 90 days in advance as of August 1st of this year. This is temporary until next year and some restaurants will still book 180 days out (see below) This is NOT confirmed...
