Funny enough, I thought I was the only one who felt that way about LWTL. I have a hard time not playing the 'what was' game, myself. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much. It's not perfect, but it's what there is.

So anyone who doesn't fall over themselves singing the praises of these figures is against everything the Imagineers do? Gotcha.

I don't know if it's the glow from the projection faces or the frame rate, but something is off on those. They just look a little weird. Maybe they'll look better in person, but they don't seem to be that huge a step over Buzz to me. Granted, the integration with expanded motion is a huge step...

Maintenance? What's that?

My selfish opinion is that they can change the hot dogs all they like but if the corn dogs nuggets are affected, I shall be very cross indeed. :D

That's how I got introduced to it. I read on here years ago that it smelled like that and I tried it and loved the flavor. :D

Quite honestly, and no offense to Kevin Yee, it sounds like wishful thinking to me. He is countering things Universal is actually doing, with some things Disney has talked about or may be doing (with the exception of MM+). They don't match up at all in my mind. Wish in one hand and all that.

The narration voice in that video sounds awfully familiar. Is it in the Parks somewhere?

Isn't the info going around that SW project was so fast tracked after the acquisition that they had no plans to unveil?

So, in the case of the Haunted Mansion, does the addition of FP+ to the ride mean that all standby traffic will be forcibly routed through the graveyard 'enhancement'? If so, that's reason enough to be cranky about FP+.

A couple of the local stores have some Halloween candy out as well as some Halloween themed paper goods (plates, tissues, etc). Costco, on the other hand, has Christmas wrapping paper and ornaments out with nary a Halloween item in sight.

I got one for my mother last year as she's practically obsessed with those countdown things. If I recall correctly, it was somewhere between $35 and $40.

The ability to get regular fast passes will no longer be an option when FP+ goes live, correct? I wonder if people are being informed of that fact. If they aren't, I'd imagine it might skew opinions a bit.

I ended up ordering a couple of the Haunted Mansion ones from the Disney Store site, fearing there wouldn't be any left in the park by the time I get there next month. Despite being wrapped in about a mile of bubble wrap each, both the ears were broken off them by the time they arrived and...

The last couple of years it seems they have gotten more vigilant about checking for wristbands. I've seen cast members stopping people just walking around and double-checking to make sure that people have them.

Interesting that the Villains Dance thing isn't mentioned in the article. I preferred the old music to the new version, for what it's worth, but it was always good for drawing off some of the crowds. :D

Hey now, our roads aren't that good up here. We've got our share of thoroughly crappy streets. :D
