I think sometimes reading about or discussing the parks too much can spoil the genuine surprises you find at the parks. But I also think you can have a better time if you're well prepared and have good information.... most of which you can find here.

I remember seeing an effect for this ride previewed on "Good Morning America" before CTX opened. It was an amazing "meteor" effect done with light and smoke. I don't think I've ever seen it in action though. I like this ride, my only beef is that a lot of it is in mostly dark sections.

I've got to go with Tower of Terror as well. It's the only ride where I don't mind a long line... it gives me more time to marvel at all the detail.

I thought the Treasure Hunting jeeps were really a lot of fun.... especially because you could work with a friend to help navigate. I wish something like that was still there, but I bet it was difficult to retrieve jeeps that had stopped working.
