    Trouble in paradise officially?

The concept of instant gratification wasn't invented with Millenials.

    Trouble in paradise officially?

The complete ignorance to the economic reality right now (even before the pandemic) is astounding. Wages have been flat or negative over the last 30 years for everyone but the highest earners. Wage Stagnation While at the same time costs of basics have eaten up the median families income...

    Trouble in paradise officially?

I think the news of this isn't that Disney is expensive it's that those with the money to afford the expense are the least likely to want to go. Assuming the poll is worthwhile.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

This was just going to be shops and restaurant? No attraction? I sincerely don't get why this is obviously better other than it is something geared toward adults and not children. EDIT: Thank you for looking for it.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Besides the fact that you don’t like Moana, why do you think this movie is unpopular and /or will become profoundly unpopular?

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

In 2020 it was a 4-year old movie that was the second most streamed on D+ behind the brand new Frozen 2. Yes, I think it is a heavy hitter and quite popular.

I'm curious what you're basing this off?

When do we get the Pirates Of Caribbean Shanghai ride technology in USA?

Do we know what the Epcot ride would have been?

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

If that was the case then I don't think OA could currently be selling those designs.

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

The the design on the tshirt is pretty obviously derived from Oceanic Arts original work. And as someone else said, it all depends on the contract, but I would be pretty surprised if Oceanic agreed to Disney creating merchandise (a shirt which is sold is not an ad) based off of their art and...

Any hints as to when Trader Sam's Grog Grotto re-opens?

It seems to me that if they were retheming it, the first thing they would take down would be the name of the bar, not the sign with the hours.

New Roundup Rodeo BBQ sit-down restaurant coming to TSL

How many pages back do I have to go to find info about the BBQ restaurant rather than bickering about an Epcot ride?

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

And it seems they decided to go in a direction that highlights IP that is truer to actual Polynesian culture instead of elements that have nothing to do with Polynesian culture (Orange bird) or are seen by some as disrespectful (Tiki) of Polynesia.

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

 This looks tacky and old, like a musty B&B. It largely seems to come down to the ability of people to adapt to change, and realize that this will not stay exactly the same for your entire life.

What's the likelihood the retheme is done by December 2022?

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

Appropriated Tiki-kitsch, which I think is something that should be a larger part of this conversation but doesn't lend favorably to keeping things exactly as they are.

Is the “Magic” Disappearing at Walt Disney world

Because renting a car would certainly be more expensive. As well, I guess a lot of this comes down to why are you going on vacation? We go to WDW, not Orlando. We stay on the monorail loop because of the convenience of being able to walk right up to the dock to head to the Magic Kingdom or walk...

Is the “Magic” Disappearing at Walt Disney world

Free parking is part of the magic? It feels like a lot of complaints about Disney no longer being a magical experience are about value-adds, and have very little to do with the actual theme park experience. When deciding to spend thousands to go to WDW was free parking or a free $10 wrist band...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

I hope so, and assume some new option would pop up. We're planning a October 2022 trip, and as others have said, having car seat aged kids but no DME will make to and from the airport so much more of a headache.
