Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only new scene so far is the sunken boat (and that is actually modifying the hippo scene so I'm not sure that truly counts as a new scene). The rhino scene, boats & bait, and trader same are all tweaks of original scenes.

There is literally no satisfying a lot of people on this board. Disney is keeping the same gags just removing/adjusting out offensive imagery so as to keep the ride as classic and unchanged as possible. That gets a response of lazy, uninspired, joyless. BUT, if they had ripped out the scenes...

I just randomly did a search for 9/11/22-9/17/22. Standard, Pool, Lagoon, and Theme Park views are all available.

Huge perk of staying at the Poly, is not having to use a bus for half the parks. And MK is only a short relaxing boat ride away.

I'm aware of the listed benefits. I thought you had said there currently were none. But as you show there are, less than before, but there are perks/benefits as listed on the resort benefits section. I also believe having a head start on ADRs is an unlisted benefit.

There is an inherent benefit to staying at Poly, GF, and Contemporary based on their proximity to the Magic Kingdom and being on the monorail to access Epcot. If you don't want to call this a perk, ok, whatever, but you're splitting hairs. But it's something you do not get by staying off...

I have a fix: Disney could adapt different characters created by African Americans! Or they could even have African Americans create brand new characters for their parks, movies, and tv series. Then you would no longer have to feign this terrible defense.

No one knows, the release doesn't state one way or the other. Everyone here is assuming it is permanent, but it being a placeholder menu until Poly fully reopens with live entertainment, character breakfasts, and the new Moana theming is also quite likely.
