We took the MK train ride around the whole park today. We haven't done that in awhile. Looking at the back of the park, it seems like there is tons of room behind Fantasyland that could be developed. Does anyone know if there are any plans to ever develop this area for attractions?

Just curious if anyone knows why they stopped the boat ride that went around Discovery Island at AK? I know it didn't last very long after the park opened.

I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows what's up with this area. I remember when I was a kid, they had counter service food, with hamburgers, etc. Why did they close it? Is there any plans to do anything with this area? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm suprised that they would leave those building half built like that. I'm sure that if they thought they would have the demand for them, they would have been finished by now.

We are staying at Pop Century tomorrow night. This will be our first time to that resort. I know they stopped building the 2nd half of Pop Century after 911. With all the high attendance lately, has there been any reports as to when they will finish the rest of Pop Century?

The French Quarter is much nicer, but if you think you will be staying at the parks all day and just use the resort to sleep at, you can save some money by staying at Pop Century. But if you plan to do any relaxation, it is worth spending alittle more. French Quarter is part of Port Orleans...
