In need of a Baby Sitter

My kids have never been put to sleep by anyone other than my myself or my husband. We'd love to go to a late night and go on some things we don't get to do with the kids (yes, I know they have rider swap, but my kids would flip and they are so young that I think it would be unfair to ask them...

    Very torn

We were able to get a standard room at the Polynesian. We've never stayed there. I'm excited about being on the monorail because it really is the easiest with the double stroller and such young kids, but I'm worried about how spread out it may be and which building it's best to stay in.

    Polynesian

Yep, love the monorail and not having to close the stroller or take the kids out. With a big double stroller and a 2 and 4 year old it is so much easier. We are very interested in checking out some other places, like the Boardwalk, but figure we should wait until we don't need the double...

    Polynesian

Closest to TTC? Does that mean you can go straight there to catch a monorail to Epcot? We've stayed at BLT the last 2 years so we've either taken the monorail or walked from there. Do you have a preference as to which building? Thanks for the info!

    Polynesian

Or maybe we're better of by a certain pool, etc. Like I said, we've never stayed at the Polynesian before so I don't know where it's best to try and be. Thanks again.

    Polynesian

OK, we made our decision and we're staying at the Polynesian. We've never stayed there before. I know that some rooms are closer than others and I THINK we'd be better off closer to the monorail, but not 100% sure. We will have our double stroller for our 2 and 4 year old boys. I'd love...

    Very torn

We were definitely lucky the last 2 years to be able to stay at BLT. We've been on the boats from the Contemporary with the stroller and it definitely wasn't fun! I wasn't sure if the boat that takes you to the MK from there is the one where you can keep it open or one of the smaller ones...

Thank you for your opinion. Opinions are exactly what I'm looking for!

    Attraction height and age restrictions

And I have the complete opposite problems. My 4 year old is extremely short for his age. He's only 36 1/2 inches. This means he isn't even tall enough to ride their version of a flume ride and now that Toon Town isn't open he doesn't have any "roller coasters" to ride. We went to a place in...

    Very torn

I'm having a really hard time making a decision on where to stay in October. We've gone to Disney World the last 3 years. The first year we were with my parents and we stayed off property at a Marriott Vacation Club in a 2 bedroom. The last 2 years we've gone (with us and our kids) and we...

PHOTO - Fantasyland construction wall gets higher

I can't believe the only roller coaster that one of my kids can go on is closed. My 2 year old doesn't make the height requirements, but Goofy's roller coaster was my older ones favorite ride last year (and he had just barely made the height requirement at that point). Of course I'd still be...

    So Torn on Changing Things...

My kids have never been put to bed by anyone other than us. I would love to have a date night and be able to ride all the rides they can't, but I'm really nervous as to how they would do with such changes and us going to have some fun in the park without them. I was thinking about maybe doing...

    Biggest Magic Kingdom Secret

We haven't gone there. It would be fun to search for it, but my kids aren't big enough (big meaning in height) to go on either of these rides, which really stinks because I really want to go on them. Yes, I know they have rider swap, but my boys would freak out because they went on a log flume...

Where to go? Where to go?

Last year we went to Hollywood & Vine in DHS. They changed the characters and now it's Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, June and Leo. My kids had a blast and it was so different from any of the other ones we'd done (Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, etc.), but don't get me wrong, we've done those...

Best hotel pool for 5 and 3 year old?

We stayed at BLT the last 2 years and we spend most of our time at MK so it's great because we even walked a bunch of times instead of waiting for and dealing with the monorail (although the monorail is the easiest transportation around when 2 kids are in a double stroller). My kids are now 2...

    So Torn on Changing Things...

We were just discussing the MNSSHP. My kids will be 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 when we take our next trip. We have never done the MNSSHP even though we've been there for it the last few years because they would never last. Last year my oldest fell asleep in the stroller a couple of nights around 8:30...
