Have you considered doing both? With a resort stay you can add a 3 or 4 night cruise, this will give you a chance to see what Disney cruising like. The Disney Dream is my favorite, at least until the fantasy comes out.

Congratulations! If you are anything like my wife you will tire easily. Remember visitors often walk 6 miles per day. Rest a lot! Take breaks, this may be a great time to just sit by your resort's swimming pool.
